Mario Party 2, favorite MP of all time, addictive mini-games, great music, creating a storyline for each stage is actually pretty creative (same with MP but I like MP2's better).
Your favorite out of the original 3 Mario Parties?

Mario Party 3. I remember all the times playing that. I still have every mario party and the first 3 were all in the top 5.
I will choose Mario Party 3. 1 is awesome, but control stick rotating games pissed me off. 2 is awesome too, but I like 3 better!
Mario Party 3 too! It's my favorite MP! I played a lot of hours on this game with my family. 8)
Probably Mario Party 2 since it's the only one I own.

Mario Party 3. I love the Items and the Item system (can carry 3, the two separate shops, and the Item Bag), as well as Duel Mode and that island on the top left of Waluigi Island.
3 just beats 2 to the post for the items...and better minigames
My fav is Mario Party 2 because it's the only one that I've ever played. And owned. :wario:
My favourite out of the first three Mario Parties is Mario Party 2. I think that it has the best boards and minigames out of the original three. I liked the Bowser Bomb as well. Too bad it never came back.
I can't believe I haven't posted it here yet.
Anyway, my favorite out of the three would be MP3. The game was the best structured overall. The boards were fantastic, along with the minigames, duel mode, and story mode. I also loved the items that were in this game, very well thought out.

I have to go with the only N64 Mario Party game that I enjoyed and that is Mario Party 3.
What really stood out to me may not be a big deal for others, but it was the Items. There were plenty of unique items that made playing the board maps really exciting. This was the only N64 Mario Party in which I enjoyed the minigames. They were a huge step up form Mario Party 2 IMO. Finally this is the only MP game that has a tolerable Story Mode.
So...yeah. =P

Definitely Mario Party 3. It has the best Story Mode, music, and minigames out of the three imo.
Unlike everyone else here MP2 was my favorite. I loved the costumes and each bored had a story and an ending scene where the winner battled Bowser. It was fun!
