It's so hard to choose from. They're all good, but Mario Party 3 is my favorite. I liked the Duel Mode and the boards and the minigames. Mario Party 1 and 2 were good, too.

I like 2 the most. For minigames and themes, I also really like the outfits.
Mario party 3 it added so many great things.
2 was my favorite with 3 in second so nobody can be like *with annoying nerd voice* "You didn't vote for 3, You are a loser!!! :"*stops* I merely like 2 more than 3 because I did not like the paper theme. Looked out of place.

Am i really the only one that thinks 1 was the best??!! i mean think about the amazing boards and minigames MP1 had. MP2 was great, and so was 3 but 1 was FAR better
Mario Party 2. It was the first Mario Party I've played, I loved the mini-games and the different costumes were cool. I also like the fact you can force the characters run for ages in the character selection tunnel.

They brought items in with this game, and made it much more interesting.
In Mario Party 1 you collected coins, but with no real point other than to pay for board effects. So, you'd always end up with a million coins and hardly anything to use them on.
They also brought in the costumes and I always loved that feature of the boards! Especially Horror Land.

Face Lift, Crazy Cutters, etc.

Very hard choice. Never played 3. 1 or 2 then. 1 was a revolution in gaming with the first party game. 2 was interesting with dueling. Have to go with 1. Just too good.
Now that I think about it, 1 had my favourite mini-game of all time "running of the bulb". I could play that mini-game for hours and still never get bored. It's fun when you have to work together to win, but you're still playing solo, trying to get other people to walk into the big Boo while saving yourself. I love all survival mini-games.
I still prefer Mario Party 2 though.

I like number 3 because it had great mini-games, awesome boards with diverse characteristics. I also love to play the deul mode in it! No other party has anything like it! I also thought it had the best of all of the story modes!

Man MP3 is awesome the boards were the best i like the music and the 2 added characters, Daisy & Waluigi and the minigames were fun too.
I have a Nintendo 64 and 3 now and my new thoughts:

Hard question While Mario Party 2 had costumes Mario Party 3 had the Awesome duel gamemode but Im gonna have to go with Mario Party 2
Maybe MP3. It was the last Mario Party for the N64 that I got. It included a bunch of things that the first two didn't contain much of. MP1 and MP2 were still great, though. The first one has been in my family since I was born, the second one I've owned for a few years, and the third one I've had for a year.

My favorite is MP1 cuz it has 8 boards, Awesome Music, and the minigames were great!
