Just to clarify, is Lucky 7 to pick an item out of 7, or do 7 items surround the kart for use?

I believe you use all seven but one at a time.

I think it's a pity that there will only be 16 characters in this game, I was hoping for more, namely Birdo, Waluigi, Diddy Kong, Bowser Jr., Toadette, King Boo, and R.O.B. Hopefully, there will be more than 16.

As well, I am upset by the fact that there is only one track returning from Double Dash. It is my favourite Mario Kart, the one that got me hooked to the series, and it is terrible underrated. Hopefully they will bring more tracks back than just Dino Dino Jungle.

I wouldn't count on having 16 characters total. Back when MKWii was coming out there was the same outcry when a magazine confirmed a total of 18 characters. There is no reason not to expect the JP site to add in a few more slots. And are they really going to leave Waluigi out? I highly doubt it.

And basing off the confirmed tracks, you can probably expect two more DD! tracks to be remade. The current order is

1 GCN +2 more tracks yet to be revealed.
4 DS
4 Wii

Totaling 16 Retro Tracks.

Yeah. For the giant balloons, we saw that there's a Red Toad, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad so far. Will we be expecting a Green Toad and a Purple Toad, as well? Maybe a Toad with red spots and blue vest?

I wouldn't expect that many Toads. And sorry about what I said earlier, I thought you were talking about the Mushroom Cup. The Shell Cup does have two Luigi tracks.

I wonder if the fishing rod lakitu will appear in Koopa Troopa Beach if you go in the outside waters.

Lol, I'm hoping for more difficult retro tracks. Because I don't know, N64 Kalimari Desert being in a cup like Leaf or Lightning Cup, it's too easy to be in those.

And I would agree that the 3DS Wheel accessory is very unnecessary and I just think it hinders the idea of the 3DS being portable, meaningless.

I don't have the November issue of Nintendo Power, but yeah, those two are surprising. Well, not Wiggler, but Queen Bee, yes. That truly means no Waluigi at all, unless he's part of the upcoming DLC, but who knows.

I don't understand why everyone thinks the character roster will be 16 characters only. The JP might have 16 slots but that is in no way a confirmation. I remember when there was only 18 characters announced for MKWii and people were flipping out. I would expect four more characters in the roster. The newcomers have already been revealed, so I would say Waluigi, Boo (or King Boo), Toadette, Diddy. If they go with 24 characters, I would add Birdo, Bowser Jr., Dry Bones, and Funky (or Baby Mario).

Oh my gosh, Wiggler! He's one of my favourite characters, and his odd body shape gave me doubts of whether or not he could fit in a kart! But the Queen Bee? She would be one of my favourites too!

Also, on the Japanese website, if you look carefully on DK's video, on the jungle track, you can catch Bowser throwing Fireballs at the Queen Bee, whose wings give her off.
