Mario Kart 7

[Justin5267]

Now that's definately nicer than the Mario Kart Wii graphics.

Um, these graphics are TERRIBLE compared to MKW. :-/

It's certainly an improvement from Mario Kart DS, and the graphics are not terrible compared to Mario Kart Wii, to me Mario looks a little worse than he does in Mario Kart Wii.

Comparing it to the Wii is pretty unfair, but it definitely looks better than the DS one.

Retro studios is working on this game. I hope they do a good job cause looks like many retro things like coins are coming back.

Coins are in almost ever mario game.

I think she means the coins reappearing in a Mario Kart game.

Back on topic, I'm not sure if Mario Kart 7 will be the finalized name. Quite weird if you ask me. And it'll be released in December 2011.

Well, it would be the 7th Mario Kart game made...(not counting the two arcade Mario Kart games)

So, it'd be kinda fitting.

Then again, you do have a point. Then Mario Kart on the Wii U would be the 8th game.

[Justin5267]

I'm sure the name will be Mario Kart 3DS. It's been like that since the 64 expect the Gameboy Advance game.

[Relxhive35]

Mario Kart 7 sounds fine, I like it.

[H-J Kaabii]

Sounds like Windows 7

They could've called it Mario Kart 3D as well, but hey, whatever catchy phrase floats one's boat.

[Justin5267]

I was wrong, the official name is actually Mario Kart 7 So someone could change the topic title if they care. It also will release sometime this December.

For real. I don't really like the idea of Mario Kart 7.

[berrylarry200]

Mario Kart 7 is a stupid name... Why didn't they make it simple and just keep it at Mario Kart 3DS? Or they could've named it Mario Kite as the beta name lol

[Snowy620]

Mario Kite

I didn't see the mario crew playing with kites in the beta video.

[CaptainShyguy]

Nintendo is giving horrible names these day... WiiU, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7...

At least, it doesn't really affect the game play.

[cookieboy17]

Mario Kite

Sounds racist to me lol.

[topper1]

I'm gonna buy this game because it looks great fun, not because of its name!!!

So getting this when its released!

[cookieboy17]

I'm just getting it for the name on the other hand. I'm not exactly digging the flying concept yet. Looks more like a add-on just to add something on.
