Not too horrible.. I mean in the other ones you basically just played tournaments. I think the only story mode was in the GBC one waayyyy back when.
Including the GBA version as well. I didn't think that Story Mode will be added in the 3DS version. Technically, the 3DS is a handheld, but the developers may have removed the mode for some reason whatsoever. But most likely, Tournament Mode will return.The Joker said:

The only problem I have with this is you can no longer have your own character. Yea Miis but I would rather have a regular looking person to call MY character. Like Ace.
Play with 2-4 friends in singles, doubles, download play, or co-op modes locally, or just jump into Online matches using Nintendo Network!
