I could use something to keep my blog running, so why not?

100. Bisharp

I really like Bisharp for several reasons. First off is its unique typing, Dark/Steel. Second, it's the only Pokemon that can have Defiant as a non-hidden ability. Its base stat total is 490, with 125 Attack. It has a good movepool, with moves like Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Brick Break, Night Slash, Iron Head, Dual Chop, Substitute, X-Scissor, Stone Edge, Dark Pulse, Dig, Psycho Cut, Shadow Claw, Aerial Ace, Pursuit, and Thunder Wave. Its name comes from "bishop" and "sharp." A secondary source might be "bisect." Bisharp is quite a well-designed Pokemon, being based on a knight, probably the Arthurian knights. Besides that, it looks similar to Pulseman and the heroes from the Super Sentai and Kamen Rider Series.

99. Chandelure

Chandelure is a pretty good Pokemon. It has a unique type combination, Ghost/Fire. Its BST is 520, 145 of that being Special Attack. In fact, it has the highest Special Attack of all non-legendaries and of all Ghost-types. It also has two great abilities in Flash Fire and Shadow Tag. It has a good movepool, with moves like Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Psychic, Trick, SolarBeam, Overheat, Hidden Power, Heat Wave, Calm Mind, Will-O-Wisp, Hex, Dark Pulse, and Curse. Its name comes from "chandelier" and "lure" or "allure." It has a good design as well, being based on a chandelier and the Hitodama (a blue, black, or purple-fire associated with ghosts and yōkai, equivalent to the western will-o'-the-wisp).

98. Whimsicott

Whimsicott, the Pokemon that will either make you laugh as your opponent is helpless or make you want to tear your hair apart. This is all due to Prankster. Whimsicott's BST is 480. Its movepool is filled with options like Leech Seed, Substitute, Encore, Stun Spore, Taunt, Toxic, Protect, Tailwind, Giga Drain, Endeavor, U-Turn, and even Hurricane. Its name comes from "whimsical" or "whimsy" and  "cotton." It has quite a cute appearance for being based on a fully bloomed ball of cotton. It also resembles the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, a sheep-growing plant used to explain cotton production in the Middle Ages. It may also be based on the Saci, a Brazilian folklore creature that rides on winds and plays pranks. Of course, it also resembles a sheep. It represents April in Unova's horoscope.

97. Snorlax

The first gen 1 Pokemon on this list, and it is a good one. Its BST is 540, the highest among all Pokemon that can hatch from an egg. It has two great abilities in Thick Fat and Immunity. It has a wide movepool, with moves like Rest, Sleep Talk, Body Slam, Whirlwind, Earthquake, Curse, Recycle, Fire Punch, Selfdestruct, Crunch, Ice Punch, Return, Protect, Heavy Slam, Belly Drum, Focus Punch, Substitute, Psychic, Hyper Beam, Outrage, Blizzard, Pursuit, SolarBeam, Amnesia, Focus Blast, Iron Head, Fire Blast, Snore, Fissure, Superpower, Giga Impact, and ThunderPunch. Its name comes from "snore" and "lax" or "relax." It resembles hibernating bears and teddy bears, and also Ursus spelaeus. It may also be based on food coma. It's the sixth-heaviest Pokemon. In 3D games, it opens its eyes when it faints. It dances when the Poke Flute is played in Pokemon Snap.

96. Rotom

Rotom is a unique Pokemon with six forms. Normal Rotom's BST is 440, while Appliance Rotom's BST is 520. It's ability is Levitate. Its typing is Electric and its secondary typing changes depending on form: Normal's type is Ghost, Heat's is Fire, Mow's is Grass, Frost's is Ice, Fan's is Flying, and Wash's is Water. Its name comes from "motor" written backwards. It appears to be based on multiple origins, including Pulseman, ball lightning, gremlins, poltergeists, and tsukumogami. Oddly enough, although it is a non-legendary, its battle theme is the legendary Pokemon battle theme.

95. Bronzong

Bronzong is quite tough. Its BST is 500. It has one great ability in Levitate, and the not-so-great Heatproof. Im glad Jellicent is up here because it is one of my sweepers. I personally think it should be higher. Movepool consisting of Recover, Confuse Ray, Water Spout, and Blizzard. Confuse ray allows time to take chunks of damage out of every Pokemon. With everybody confused Water Spout has base power 150 because of my full HP. If HP goes down, Recover it back up. Blizzard just a filler.
