Anyway, I want Thwomp as a playable character. Ever since I first played Mario Party, i've always liked that blue rock. And considering he's not in many games anymore, he'd be perfect as just a one species character. I also want Splunkin, you know that pumpkin from NSMB? =P He looks an interesting original character.

Charizard, this topic is for posting MARIO CHARACTER suggestions. Even though they might add totally new characters, I doubt they will have little girls with big hats. =P

Here is another member that should be in Mario Party 9.

Koopa Troopa

Sorry about the 2 characters I mentioned before. Now I doubt it that they will be playable in Mario Party 9.

Koopa Troopa should be playable, because he/she has good speed, and good hands. He/she is also playable in Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii. Since Dry Bones is playable in Mario Party 7, 8 and Mario Kart Wii, how about Koopa Troopa becomes a playable character! Don't worry. There is more than 1 Koopa Troopa in existance, in the Mushroom Kingdom.
 
Characters that must be in Mario Party 9 are Koopa Troopa and Shy Guy, because the two are popular enemies in the Mario series.
I want Rosalina to be in the game as an unlockable character, but I'm fine if she's just a board host/game host as long as she's in the game.
Now, is it neccessary to remove Birdo? Cause I want to exchange Birdo for Diddy Kong or Bowser Jr... or both!
 
They should add Lakitu as a playable character aswell as Cheep Cheep because they are soooooo cute.

Yeah I've been thinking that adding Goombella would also add another Female Character and that way we wouldn't have to add some average Goomba :p
 
I agree with chaosshadow when they say Shy Guy should be in. He has gotten a lot friendlier with everyone then other characters like Goomba or Bob-omb. The Whittle idea sounds cool because it is an unique character. I think that a character that deserves a shot at being playable is Whomp. He's had an extensive history in the MP field, can punch and kick, and can jump as well. I know people might not like it, but it is worth considering.

I'm not really sure if Shy guy whomp goomba or bob-omb should be playable
Shy Guy Bob-omb and Goomba are too average(Not popular enough) to be in Mario Party 9
And Whomp is still a slow mover i dunno about whittle or the rest but i doubt they'll be on MP9 and even if they'll get added they should add em on MP10 where they'll have the highest number of new characters so I think that's 5 new characters on MP10 so I think MP9 will only have 1 character but i think koopa kid should return

Ugh... you're giving me a headache Mario, try to use punctuation next time. I wonder what happened to Koopa Kid anyway, did they destroy him or something? It would be a good idea to put him back but I'm really unsure about it. Maybe the oughta put in Koopa Kid or maybe not, but I don't think Thwomp shoud be put in. I'm also not saying they should put in Whomp, but I think they should consider it. (After all they put in Birdo and we all know that no one on this site really likes Birdo.) I think they might want to consider Penguin or Bandit as a playable character because they've had extensive histories in the MP series like Whomp has. (Now that I think of it Bandit does look the most human-ish enemy character in the game.)
P.S. I said Whomp, not Thwomp.

Well I guess Bandit could'nt hurt he doesn't appear much often but i guess he can be playable and yes i know you said whomp
