Did you guys even ask Marioguy what was up?

Congrats to Sushi but I thought Marioguy was doing alright until the random drop.

Marioguy was inactive ever since April. What are you talking about? >.<

Well that's pretty messed up to just drop someone. At least inform him, he's been out for a week...I mean I know I got pretty up in the staff's face about this final verdict stuff but that's just flat out wrong...
Yeah something might of come up in his family. but y'know with this site being so active we needed a replacement ASAP =P

but from what i've been told he's never been very active on the site (which makes me question why they made him a g-mod in the first place...) so if he has a record of not being active then i'm fine with the removal.

I'm going off 2nd hand info tho.

It seems VIP was the one who decided to give Sushi GMod. SZ hasn't been on since 4:51 and this happened at 5:44. I think VIP felt sad for screwing Sushi over, so he decided to promote him. SZ didn't have any decision in this, but oh well, I still think Sushi definitely deserved it. He helped save this forum from spam and noobs.
... you are really making an ass out of yourself by assuming. The whole board discussed this.

SZ and everyone agreed.

When you ASSUME you make an ASS out of U and ME

and if mario guy has a history of being inactive then he should've been demodded but if cook is correct then we should have waited....

Something we should have done. I regret not discussing this when we were making the decision. We should have given him the chance to get on and explain why he was gone or if he was going to continue to be active.

Well according to Aegis's mentality Marioguy has to suck it up and move on. >.<

Or you can look at the situation from a non-idontgiveashat standpoint I think you guys should PM him and see what's up and at least give him his spot back if he says he'll be active. I don't like the idea that everything needs to happen now, that all these big changes gotta happen now, to just drop Marioguy like that. TT said it before baby steps, I think the forum is getting ahead of itself right now.

And it seems I'm not the only one who has realized that Marioguy was on pretty much daily, it's just Aegis who made this random assumption that he hasn't been active since April. I'm not trying to gang up on Aegis or anything cause I realize how much of this is directed at him but the forum won't do any good if you follow his bootcamp-like mentality.

Yeah, thinking about it after the we did it, it sounds like the wrong move. I'd like to give him his spot back but we are not going to tell Sushi Boy that he is out again. >.< If we do go with a fifth GMod for Marioguy, we will start heading back to the problem of too many Staff members. Still, I don't like the way we handled this and I'd like to redo a few things.

I don't think it's a problem to have too many staff members. That's not the problem, we need more activity on the forum. Why don't we go back to normal? I didn't see any problems with it. The forum improved and was kept clean.

What made us want to change staff members anyway? It was going perfect for a month and then all of a sudden it became a problem having too many staff members? There was no problem. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." We should try to go by that.
