My trip so far has been lackluster, really. 50% of the people that's of my oldest cousin's age or younger were unable to attend to the trip for a full week. Those are my two oldest cousins and my sister. They all have work, too.

My sister spent two weeks last month to go to Europe for her friend's wedding. She has to work at San Francisco. My second oldest cousin is stuck in Central America for some volunteering and he's going stay there for a couple of years, since starting back in March 2015. We all did talk to him through Skype Video on Tuesday, though. Finally, my oldest cousin is stuck for work in Florida. He's at least tried to spend time with us, but his boss is keeping him there for some more work that needs to be done.

Lake Tahoe for future years isn't going to be worth it anymore unless more than 50% of the children are able to attend for the full duration of the trip. I understand that we all have work, but a trip is lackluster without them.

Sorry the trip isn't as expected Vip, family growing up is hard, I hope it gets better for you in the future!

trip is good

maine weather is nice and cool, and the heat is usually dry. nice compared to hot humidity festival

went to some lobster festival today, was fun. toured a coast guard thing with my grandmother. seems a lot of them end up serving on hawaii at one time or another.

I am so close to reaching second class rank. I have to more requirements, I'm hoping to finish up some time next week, and I will hopefully be first class by next court of honor.
Woah that's great! :D
So if you're getting 1st Class by the next CoH, when will you get 2nd Class? :p
I'll be awarded the ranks at the same time. Although, now that I think about it, I won't actually ever wear this patch:

Like we didn't know what that looked like jk
Never seen anybody get 2 in 1 lol
It happens all the time in my troop.
Then you must not have as many CoHs lol
Once every 6 months. Not including Eagle Scout CoHs. The family of the scout hosts those.
No wonder---at my old troop (I don't do scouting anymore), we did it 4 times a year at similar times. (so about every 3 months)
And usually for Eagle Scouts the mayor would come, the family would be hosting, and there would be a banquet.
