I have started my quest to watch every episode of Kirby Right Back at Ya. I have watched 14 of the 99, and I also need to see the movie.

My trip so far has been lackluster, really. 50% of the people that's of my oldest cousin's age or younger were unable to attend to the trip for a full week. Those are my two oldest cousins and my sister. They all have work, too.
My sister spent two weeks last month to go to Europe for her friend's wedding. She has to work at San Francisco. My second oldest cousin is stuck in Central America for some volunteering and he's going stay there for a couple of years, since starting back in March 2015. We all did talk to him through Skype Video on Tuesday, though. Finally, my oldest cousin is stuck for work in Florida. He's at least tried to spend time with us, but his boss is keeping him there for some more work that needs to be done.
Lake Tahoe for future years isn't going to be worth it anymore unless more than 50% of the children are able to attend for the full duration of the trip. I understand that we all have work, but a trip is lackluster without them.

@Vip: Yeah, that is totally understandable. It really sucks when the family and friends grow up and get really busy. There's less free time to have fun and spend time with those we love. Even though your trip hasn't as great as you expected to be, I hope you've had fun. Perhaps, this just wasn't the best year and maybe, next year will be better. One thing for sure, things will probably never be exactly the same.
family gatherings kind of suck when half the family isn't there. i'm glad my family (families in some cases) still get together as a whole during christmas.
Got back from Ireland yesterday! It does feel nice to be home, even though I loved Ireland. One thing that was amazing was that I got to see New Grange, a 5,000 year old structure! It's a long tunnel leading to a circular room (it was an alter) with these large pillars used to store the ashes of the dead. On the winter solstice, the sunlight passes through this tunnel above the entrance and shimmers a stream of light through the room. They were able to position this light tunnel perfectly 5,000 years ago! Hope everyone else's summer/school year is going well.
