Half are taken up by a normal hand of various skin colours, 3 are cat paws (they say one if a dog paw but I can't tell tbh), and the last two are unique, 1 being Mario and another being the Mario Paint Hand.
The Mario Paint Hand doesn't over up the TV screen so much and there's nothing else really special with the hands to choose from so I'll pick that (tbh I'd have hoped for much more than what we saw, like Wario's Hand because of that cameo, as well as other creatures/stuff

It only shows up on the TV, so it won't be an issue when designing levels. It would only bother people watching you, but how many people are going to sit there and watch you make a level?
