New Super Luigi U

That is one ugly box art. Besides the background, everything is basically official art slapped on in random places. Even the Blue Toad art is the same, with the red Koopa shell replacing the Baby Yoshi. Looks like some random photoshop from the internet.

Also, the fact that Nabbit is playable doesn't mean we should get excited about Nintendo trying out new characters. Nabbit was already programmed to be able to run through a level from the main game. The reason he can't collect power-ups and can't get damaged in the DLC is because Nintendo would have had to program that all into the character. So they didn't sit down and try to figure out a character to replace Mario. They saw Nabbit and threw him in there because it was easy to do.

Nintendo got lazy :p

I plan to play through this whole game single-player anyways, so I don't care that they added in Nabbit.
I just wish Nintendo would have changed it's story line to just not be the exact same thing as in NSMBU, though... :(

...also - I wonder why Nabbit would have lives if he can't get hurt by enemies? :p
Yes, I know he could lose some by falling off the edge, but still.

They shoulda used Toadette to replace Mario ::)
Seriously speaking though, she wouldn't be too hard to program. Just use the Male Toad model, slap on some hair and a dress and color it pink. And Toadette probably wouldn't have the same dress problems that denied Peach and Daisy playability, because she wears a short dress.
This game still seems pretty cool, and since it's cheap digitally, I'll buy it that way.

Lol, they could have considering the retail release for North America is on Sunday, August 25, 2013, which is the five-year anniversary of Toadette's last appearance in Mario Super Sluggers.

He can probably still fall down pits and lose lives, hence him having a life counter.

Definitely going to get this digitally around when it comes. Not worth it for me to spend an extra $10 on the retail version, especially since that doesn't come out until later August.

Vip, the time has almost come (like 5.5 days/4.5 in Japan) before it is released on digital. Any more news on that game yet?
Not much. The levels are shorter, to compensate the short 100 time limit. I did play this game at E3 2013, and I just pretty much played through Acorn Plains. It's still going to cost $20 for a digital copy. Like I said, nothing new to note of now, but I will make a post on the main site when it's out for each of the countries.

Now all we have to do is to wait until it's released... ::)
