I so call created a Mario Party myself with boards and mini-games. One of the boards is called Podoboo's Mine
- Find a treasure chest and open it and see what's inside (20 coins, a card [my item], a star, or a twister that fly you back to start
- Land on Bowser and 1 chest will contain a killer star [destroy someone's star]
- Land on Krystal [DK] and she will double the prize that is in one chest, and there will never be a twister in a chest [40 coins, 2 cards, 2 stars]
- ? will change the layout of the board [usually the long way have the star]
- A lucky space [eighth note] will make you fly to a secret oasis in the mine where you pick a chest and get triple the prize inside [60 coins, 3 cards, 3 stars]

[I might as well give 2 of my own boards]

(A City in the Sky)
- A basic Mario Party
- Have 20 coins or 10 coins and get to the star
- Bowser will summon a twister in the sky and move the star as well as everybody and he also destroys the extra star spaces Krystal created
- Krystal will duplicate the star and there will be 2 star spaces [there can be up to 5 star spaces. After that the player just get 30 coins] After the stars are obtained, there will be regular 1 star space
- ? Have various effects
[ Take you in front of the star or in back of the star]
[ Fly and try to collect the coins airborne]
[ Coins will all the sudden fly towards the board. Hope you get a lot of coins]
[ Transform the city to nighttime or daytime]
Daytime - Lasts 5 turns
[Stars cost 20 coins and routes to lucky space are available]
Nighttime - Lasts 5 turns
[ Stars cost 10 coins and friend spaces turns into duel spaces]

Marioguy: Interesting but please don't Double Post.

I think MP9 should revolve around PM:TTYD.  They used PM with MP5, and I liked the idea.  Each board would be hosted by a partner, and other modes could be hosted by other nonplayable characters from the game (i.e. Pro. Frankly, Jolene, Flavio, etc.).  It would be interesting to see the 2-D characters become 3-D.
Examples:
1. Hooktail Castle.  Host: Koops.  Difficulty: */***.  Description: Classic Style.  Players go around the castle and pay 20 coins for stars.  Happening Space Event: Hooktail sweeps down and either A) blows you with fire, making you lose 20 coins, or B) pick you up and take you back to the beginning.  What he does is selected randomly.
2. Boggly Woods.  Host: Madame Flurrie.  Difficulty: */***.  Description: Classic Style.  Players go around Boggly Woods in search for the stars.  Happening Space Event: Either Beldam or Marilyn become visible and Beldam freezes you so that you miss a turn, or Marilyn electricutes you so that you lose 15 coins.  What happens to you is selected randomly.
3. Glitzville Arena.  Host: A randomly-colored Yoshi.  Difficulty: **/***.  Description: Players start out with 5 stars.  To get a star you have to land on a Happening Space to duel someone.  If you win, you get one of their stars.  If you lose, you lose a star.
4. Twilight Town.  Host: Vivian.  Difficulty: **/***.  Description: Classic Style.  Go around Twilight Town in search of Stars.  Every 5 turns, the bell tolls, and the guards at different posts turn into pigs for the next 2 turns, allowing access to areas unaccessable before.  Happening Space Event: The guards turn into a pig for one turn only.  If the guards are already pigs, then nothing happens.
5. Keelhaul Key.  Host: Admiral Bobbery.  Difficulty: **/***.  Description: Players scramble around the single path of the dense jungles and shores of Keelhaul Key in search of the magic star space.  When one reaches the top of a waterfall is the star space, where they can buy as many stars as they have coins for.  (All stars are 20 coins).  Happening Space Event: A Cheep Cheep comes out of the waterfall the board is centered around, swallows you, and takes you to a random spot on the board.
6. Poshley Heights.  Host: Ms. Mowz.  Difficulty: ***/***.  Description:  Go around the skyscrapers of Poshley Heights to invest in mansions, hotels, and even Poshley Sanctum (worth 3 stars, while all the others are 1).  Happening Space: Steal coins from hotels or add coins to your investment.
7. Fahr Outpost.  Host: Goombella.  Difficulty: **/***.  Description: Every starts off with 5 stars and gets to steal them from other players by paying Bob-ombs on the frozen landscape.  Happening Space: Price to pay Bob-ombs go up.
8. The Thousand Year Door. (This is the equivalent to a Bowser board, and must be unlocked).  Host: Grodus.  Difficulty: ***/***.  Description: Classic Style.  Players must discover the secrets of underground Rogueport.  Happening Space: Grodus places a ztar that looks similar to the star, and you must decide which to buy.
What do you think?

Two things. One, how can Baby Mario host the party? He's gonna be like BWAHHHH!!! Gooo Gooo GAHHH!!! And Mario's like WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU SAYING!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? The other thing is that Luigi's Mansion sounds a lot like King Boo's Haunted Hideway.

LOTS OF AWESOME IDEAS!! YOU HAVE THERE, MAH BOI!

How about these?

  • Donut Plains*: The rules are the usual. Buy a star for 20 coins.
  • Dry Spiny Desert*: Buy up to 5 multiple stars for 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 or 50 coins.

  • Blizzard Summit**: Climb up the mountain to Rosalina with 20 coins and she'll give you a star. But if you meet Bowser, he'll take your stars or coins!
  • Ghostly Mansion**: Find a chest and open it. It might contain a Star!
  • Bowser's Ztar Haven***: Each Player starts with 5 stars. Then, players must use what's called a Bowser suit to steal stars, but it will be the victim's choice to choose how many stars he/she must give up. When the victim doesn't want to give up any stars, he/she must give up some coins instead. If you land on a ? space or sometimes a Bowser space, Ztar will come, take one of your stars and randomly give it to another player.
  • HIDDEN: Land Of Hyrule***: You know the Zelda series is also by Nintendo, right? I thought I'd suggest a board in the land of Hyrule. Unlike all other MP boards, though, this one's EXTREMELY HUGE!

i have a board idea.
the board is called bowser's magnet reactor.
the host is koopa kid.
it is a board with 4 different islands. to get to the other island , you have to land on a specific ? space. it goes in a clockwise direction.to get the star, you have to go to bowser with the princess peach doll. every time someone gets a star or a zstar because you might have gave the wrong peach doll, bowser and the doll will change to a different place. but becareful people can steal your doll with 50 coins.    that is my board idea.

Honey Bee's Garden Galaxy
Host/s:Twila and Brighton
Playing Mode: Classic
:star:  :bluestar:  :redstar:  :greenstar:  :star:  :redstar:  :bluestar:  :greenstar:
Brief Description: Welcome to the Honey Bees's garden galaxy. Travel around the board picking stars as you go; but watch out, the path to the stars are changing as the seasons do.
Stars cost 20 coins
The board consists of five planets. There are four seasonal planets (will explain later) and one main planet.
Each of the four seasonal planets are themed to a different a different season (winter, spring, summer, fall). These planets play a key role in the level. Whichever planet is in front of the main planet determines the set-up of the main planet. The main planet is a forest themed planet with a lake.
