I want them to keep the car, the regular way to play got too bland after 4. The car mode is fresh and new and offers a new way to play. Since it's new there is still time to fix what needs to be fixed and to add more to better the experience.

What's not Mario Party about it? In my opinion Mario Party is better off changing over the car mode. Blandness was all aboard after about MP4... I don't want another game like the last few Mario Parties were. The car mode is great I would rather them keep it.

You ride around in a car collect mini stars, there is not coins, the boards have an end. I'm not saying you cant like it i just hope they at-least have both modes

Lubba is less likely to get in the roster than Luma. The problem is, Lubba is far too big.

Has anyone else noticed that Boo is also quite small and at the same time levitates? Although Luma is a tad smaller than Boo, I don't think size would be that much of a problem for him/her/it to get in the roster.

Petey has been reduced to nothing but stage effects and he is actually to big for Mario Party. They can't shrink him anymore without it looking funny and he is to tall of a character normally. He isn't going to be in Mario Party. Other than size there is also the fact Nintendo has murdered any refrence to Sunshine. Other than Petey, Toadsworth, and Piantas. Piantas are still around only so they can be used for crowds.

If you've noticed, Mario Party doesn't have any large characters in the rosters. They're all medium-sized or relatively small. Even DK was removed, though I'm not sure if it was because of his size. Petey getting in the roster of MP? You'd have more chance of winning the Lottery.

Delfino Plaza: A Super Mario Sunshine nostalgia board! 3 Nokis are around the plaza. One has a star, one has coins and one is actually Bowser Jr. in disguise. Pay 10 coins to find out which one is which!
Ghostly Graveyard: Rumor has it Dry Bones had a lot of stars while they were alive. Maybe invest coins to the Dry Bones... who knows?
Poshley Heights: A PP:TTYD nostalgia board! During the day, chase Ms Mowz down the board for a star. But avoid Lord Crump at night...
Beachy Island: 4 boats... one for each character. Everyone starts out with 10 stars. Catch someone's boat to steal a star from it, or reach your own to pay 20 coins for another star.
Bowser Jr. Playroom: Boomerang Bro. will throw his boomerang. Where it lands is where the star is. Get it for 20 coins.
Bowser's Space Mountain: Reach Bowser Jr. and wager coins to battle him... for stars!

Party Mode Play Options:

Story Mode:
Story Mode is a little unique and longer in this game. Here is an outline:
-Do first NEW board vs. 3 random players
-Do first NEW board with a NPC (Goomba, 1 VS 1)
-Do first RETRO board vs. 3 random players
-Do first RETRO board vs. a NPC (Funky Kong, 1 VS 1)
-Repeat that pattern for boards 2, 3, 4 and 5
-After, Bowser Jr. sends Shy Guy, Boo, Koopa, Magikoopa and himself to battle with you in NEW 6th Board, and then RETRO 6th Board. You must win, or you have to do the board again.
-Bowser comes, and you must battle Bowser Jr. in NEW Board 6, and Bowser in RETRO Board 6.
-Complete the final board after that in 8 PLAYER MODE! You are VS is the Koopalings
-When that is completed, you must defeat Bowser and Bowser Jr. in a minigame callled Carnival Showdown. You must collect tickets, bring them to MC Ballyhoo, get a mini star rod, and shoot Bowser and Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr has 6 HP, Bowser has 10. You have 10 HP as well.
-After that, all characters come and congratulate you. The Star Carnival has been turned into the _______ Carnival!

That concludes my ideas for the game.

Ummm.... StickerStarFan, it is impossible to be new and retuning.
They are the opposite.

@Brookelas King Boo's Haunted Hideaway was great board.
I would love to see it return in the next home console Mario Party despite the fact it was a bit luck-based.
