Mario Party 7 was....  okay.

The boards aren't as interesting as the sister (MP6)..  The capsules are okay..  Toadsworth is a cool host.  The  are not as good as MP6, sadly.  Solo Mode is a little downgrade.  The music can annoy you after a while..  (Gotta admit that it's more fitting than Mario Party 5.)  The new characters are alright.  The boards are boring as heck.

The plot is ridiculous.  (Well, then again, Mario Party never had such a good plotting to begin with.)  Taking out Koo pa Kid is kind of lame.

8 player mode and some of the minigames are good, though!

It's good whenever you are bored..  but I wouldn't really recommend it as much..  unless you played all of the others GCN Mario Parties first.  That, and if you are a huge Mario Party fan.  Otherwise, just skip it..  (But I won't recommend for you to try Mario Party 8 either..  as if that's the worst Mario Party, IMO.)
Boards are alright compered to MP6.
The music are the best of any Mario Party game (Not including the Cain Chomp one and the Bows er one)
Mic games are rubbish anyway you say "Distroy" and it thinks you said "Duck Burger" and the other way is slow.

My least favorite Mario Party.

- Only a couple minigames I found to be exceptionally fun, the rest were mediocre, boring, and some I even hated.
- It has Toadsworth, my least favorite host out of all the Mario Party games
- Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a lot of luck involved and every time I play the CPUs just get unbelieveably lucky. I feel as though the system is rigged in their favor, but that's just what I think.
- Didn't enjoy the new board concepts offered, and if I remember correctly there was only one board with the classic "Go to star space with 20 coins" concept.
- Game just seemed to move waaaaaay too slow.
- Two new characters added, Birdo and Dry Bones, neither of which I'm a huge fan of. At this point I'm feeling like they're cramming far too much playable characters into the game.
- Very unsatisfied when playing on teams in party mode, since you're forced to travel with your partner.
- 8 player idea was good, but I disliked the fact that you could only use one half of the controller when playing.
- Worst story in a Mario Party game to date.
- Koopa Kid spaces, orbs, and Bowser Time all made terrible additions to the party mode.
- Music was boring and unmemorable

Overall I'd give the game a 2/10. Very disappointed. My least favorite Mario Party besides MPA.
