Hey Guys! I'm going to get a nintendo gamecube soon. The first game i wanted to get was mario party 7! All the people i heard of saying they played that game said it was a "complete waste of time" But i watched tons of videos of that game, It looks great. I reckon the 8 player thing was cool. The boards look awesome, Story i guess was okay. So i was wondering if i should get that game? Please give your opions about this game.

efinately worth everything in the game in my opinion
I gotta say it's worth it in my opinion!
I have the game and played the 8-Player mode with 7 of my friends trust me if you played MP7's 8-player mode you'd be bowing down to MP7!
The game's OK overall!

Of all the Mario Parties on Gamecube. I would definitely recommend Mario Party 7. If you ever played the others than you will more than likely love this one.
Only slight issue is that the boards have a lot of events, especially Neon Heights. It also has a competitive Solo Mode against the computer. Lastly, it has some neat 8-Player Mini-Games that you share a controller with a partner.
Yeah, if you truly love the Mario Party series, you'd get this one as well. I've gotten all of them, except the 1st and 2nd, the month they came out. They don't suck, so I'm content with them.
The story mode is meh but the games are awesome. MP7 is one of the better gc ones in my opinion.
This, Mario Party 7 is my second favorite on the GC console. The boards are definitely more interesting but a great drawback include, certain items are limited to certain boards. The mini-games are ok. It's definitely at least worth a trydoutekisakura563 said:
The game is really good, it's surely better than MP8. It's also one of my favorites on the GC(the first one being MP6 =P). Like most of people say, the 8 player mode is awesome and it also has some good mic minigames and normal minigames. For the boards it really depends. Personally I like the Grand Canal and Pagoda Peak I think it is, the worst for me it's Pyramid Park(somehing like that.

Most of you guys say it is preety good! I agree with most of the comments here. The bad thing is, how much the orbs cost! In mario party 6 they didn't seem that exspinsive, atleast that's what iv'e seen. Thanks for your opions!
The cost of orbs could actually depend on what place you're at. If you're losing there's a higher possibility that the shop will have a discount. Other than that it depends on the orb you want to get, I believe it can go from 10 - 40 coins for normal pricing.

Yeah the game flow is slow as shit compared to earlier Mario Party games.

Mario Party 7 was.... okay.
The boards aren't as interesting as the sister (MP6).. The capsules are okay.. Toadsworth is a cool host. The Mic-Minigames are not as good as MP6, sadly. Solo Mode is a little downgrade. The music can annoy you after a while.. (Gotta admit that it's more fitting than Mario Party 5.) The new characters are alright. The boards are boring as heck.
The plot is ridiculous. (Well, then again, Mario Party never had such a good plotting to begin with.) Taking out Koopa Kid is kind of lame.
8 player mode and some of the minigames are good, though!
