Grammar Mistake in MP9?

[SpiderStaryu]

So, after you play on the board map and win, you go to Stats and... What's this? When you hover around the Mini Star/Ztar stat, it says "Number of Mini Stars/Ztars earned En Route", while the others say something like "In Route". I could be wrong, or this could just be a term/another language, but I thought I'd share with you guys; to hear your thoughts.

[H-J Kaabii]

It's a term borrowed from the French, simply meaning "along the route" or "on the route". Since I don't recall seeing "in route" I can't say lol

[zacktheninja300]

Its just French. It is correct.

[Luigi Party!]

Though I never saw it before, I think it is just an alt way.

[IggyKoopaStar]

Yeah, this is French, probably an translation mistake... because it means the same that you said over there. (I'm French, so I know...)

[yoshiboy]

Yeah I was thinking that too. I saw it and thought; , is that good English? and then I thought about my French lesson that day and BOOM I thought; -.- It's french.

[MarioComix]

Well, it's more of a borrowed word/phrase from French, like boutique, as I've seen it multiple times before. It's not incorrect, though as I hear that they've also used "in route" or "on route" in the game, I think that's strange to use both. I don't have the game yet, though.

En Route is just a fancy way of saying On Route or on the route etc.
