This is a mafia game. Never played before? Here's a short tutorial on how to play. It's easy to learn and even more fun to play! ;D​
Story :
Welcome to Yoshi's Island, a nice, peaceful area inhabited by the Yoshi's, a race of dinosaurs. One day, a baby fell from the sky, and the Yoshi's didn't know what to do with it, until they noticed the baby wanted to go somewhere, so now the Yoshi's are taking turns carrying the baby across the island until it reaches it's destination.

This, however, isn't a story about the Yoshi's heroic quest to save the superstar-to-be of the Mushroom Kingdom. No, this is the story of the brave ShyGuys and the troubles they had to deal with while these events happened.

Things were peaceful for the ShyGuys until the baby fell onto the island. Afterwards, many villages were destroyed by either the Yoshis or (Baby) Bowser's forces as they waged war against each other. While most Shyguys tried to remain neutral, some even decided to side with one to ensure their own safety. The times were dark for all Shyguys alike...

After hearing about the tragedy that happened along the lakeside, the residents in the jungle village of Saffore started to arise in a panic about what they should do. Many were thinking of searching for the Yoshi's to get help, others joining in the Koopa army, while a group of ShyGuys had started-up the "Brotherhood of the Guys", determined to help all their kind struggling between both the Koopa's and Yoshi's forces as they collide...​
Again, like my previous mafia game, each role has their own personal stories that will be received if you want to play.
Roles :

Neutral -
All are hidden~

Brotherhood of the Guys -
  • Tribal Guy Chief (aka : Recurring Mason) - Starts off as the only member of the tribe. However, each night, they may "recruit" any ShyGuy player into their team (including the White ShyGuy, if they say so), also allowing communication with the other Tribal Guy(s) at any time if they want to. Otherwise, they are only allowed to vote during the daytime. While being on their own team, they can still win the remaining Neutral players if they win.
Koopa Army -
  • Koopa ParaTroopa (aka : Cultist) - Starts off as the only member of the tribe. However, each night, they may "recruit" any ShyGuy player into their team (including the White ShyGuy, if they say so), also allowing communication with the other enlisted ShyGuy(s) at any time if they want to. Otherwise, they are only allowed to vote during the daytime. While being on their own team, they can still win the remaining Neutral players if they win.
Yoshis -
  • White Shy Guy (aka : Godfather) - Just like a Yoshi, although he's the one who confirms the kill for the others. As a Shy Guy, he appears innocent to Spy Guy's tracking him. He is also able to join in the Brotherhood of the Guys's or the Koopa Army if invited, but will still remain on the Yoshi's side.
Other -
All are hidden~

Wining Conditions :

Neutral - Defeat all the Yoshi's to win!
Brotherhood of the Guys - Have more players on your team than the Koopa Army's after all the Yoshi's have been defeated!
Koopa Army - Have more players on your team than the Brotherhood of the Guys's after all the Yoshi's have been defeated!
Yoshis - Outnumber all the other players to a point where it is impossible for your team to be defeated.
Other - Win conditions depend on each individual role

Neutral - 6-8 Players
Brotherhood of the Guys - 1 Player - 1 Tribal Guy Chief
Koopa Army - 1 Player - 1 Koopa ParaTroopa
Yoshis - 2-4 Players - 1 White ShyGuy
Other - Any additional Players after 12

Final Notes - I may not have gotten everything down, but please note that standard Mafia Rules apply as well as the rules of the forum.

Also - One of these roles is typically known to be hated my many, just altered in an attempt to fix it up from what made it so hated.
If enough don't want to play with this kind-of role, the game will be switched to a Town v Mafia v Mafia game.

Finally - You can be expecting a kind-of "powerful" game to come out of this, even out of character that have no powers...

Card Party ended, so I'm going to start paying attention to this now. :p

So yes, we need more players! Up to 12 players is all we need, but we can accept up to 16 total if enough want to join.
On the other end, we can also start a game if at least 8-10 are filled for a while since it would be disappointing for those who wanted to play at that point.

Also, another thing regarding one of the roles - White Shy Guy's are probably not going to be able to join other teams if invited because it makes it so you can't trust your teammates, so I'm still considering it honestly, but for now, no. BTW, if someone tries to recruit a Yoshi, they'll simply be unable to, and told so.

And one of the notes regarding the multiple-mafia game - if you guys don't want to play with the setup I chose (multiple cult group, as it looks) we can go to the other game, but you should make note of that while signing up.

And finally, the plan for this game is for both me and Jinx to host it together. I'm going to be a day-phase mod while Jinx will be the night-phase mod (as he wants to help it seems, though I'm just telling him this now, and he could reject if he wants I'm letting you write  some of the nighttime part of the story you know by this. :p.
Basically I'll go on about stuff in the day, and you'll PM him at night (you can PM me as well and I'll deliver the message to him).
...oh, and as I've said, you can reject if you want Jinx. =P Just note I'll be creating the topic for the Mafia game so I can edit the main post as everyone plays.

Ermm... regarding that, as I said before, I won't be starting unless a certain number of players have joined because it just gets to hard to re-adjust the roles to fit the number of players.

And obviously for a Mafia game, the lesser players, harder to adjust to.

At minimum, I would need at least 2 others to join before I even consider starting this, though if 2 can't, I'd be fine with 1 more and immediately starting. I will not start with only 7 players, unfortunately, no matter how this vote goes. =/

Of course, if you haven't signed up yet - I highly encourage you to - it'll be a lot of fun - I promise! :p

Well, seeing as we've now reached the minimum amount that I'm perfectly fine with starting the game with, so that means we can get started!

...of course, I'll need to make sure everyone is still available before we get into it, though, so I'd like everyone who signed-up for this to please re-confirm if you're playing or not, and then state whether or not you want to get right into the game or not.

Sign-ups are still available if anyone else wants to join as well, so it's still not too late to get into the game!
