Welcome to a Pokemon Showdown Tournament! This tournament will decide on who would be the Pokemon Master, who has the most skill out of all of the players.
The Grand Prize would be a code to get Mew for X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire! If you don't have these games, the runner-up will acquire the prize, if not then the top players that have the games will face off.
FORMAT
The battle format played will be VGC 2016! This means that you can have two of the following Pokemon on your team: Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. This is a Double Battle format. Event Pokemon and Soul Dew are banned. Item clause is in effect.
RULES
- Be a good sport - don't take losing too seriously.
- Ragequits (forfeits at Team Preview/the first turn)/intentional DCs are not permitted, however forfeiting late in the game is allowed if you think you have no chance. The penalty for any ragequits is an automatic DQ. Unintentional DCs mean that no one wins and a new match must be played if the timer runs out when set by the other player before the DC'd player has a chance to rejoin.
- Games are played at best 2 of 3.
- This is a double elimination tournament; losing two sets will eliminate you.
