I posted these here, in this Miiverse topic, as one of the two images associates with it.

Nice promo images! The hardware image looks really cool, too.

I hoped on Miiverse a few days ago and I noticed I had around 20 notifications. Turns out some girl named Erin went through all my posts and Yeahed them. It was.. interesting. :p
Usually whenever I make a post, I get about 2 or 3 "Yeah's" on it.
Only huge accomplishments (like achieving over 10 000 points on Nintendo Land's Balloon Trip Breeze on day 7) got people to reply to the posts.

Otherwise, I like to look through many non-spoiler posts I find throughout the games just to see what others have been up to.
I've also sent a message one time through it - looks kind-of like a text-messaging system with your friends. Thought that was something cool to do during gameplay! ;D

Miiverse will expand greatly - even making its way to smartphones, which will come in Spring 2013, as well as the smartphone app.

Four features coming to you:

1. Enable ability to create user communities
2. More than one official communities per title
3. Usability improvements
4. Add filtering function

It can expand features like a web-based services.

Nintendo has made some tweaks and new additions to Miiverse.

Nintendo World Report said:
Miiverse Updates Now Coming Directly to You

In other news, changes to the notification system and Code of Conduct.

Nintendo has updated their Miiverse service again and some interesting changes have been made.

Users will now get direct updates from Nintendo, which are displayed in a special dedicated Miiverse community. In here, Nintendo will make announcements about their changes to the service, so that the consumer is constantly up to date. If you are in Europe, as seen in the video below, Marty from NoE will explain in various languages on what to expect.

For this first update, Marty talked about the changes to the notification system. You will  now get messages once someone has decided to follow you, which makes keeping in touch with them easier. After commenting on someone's post, you will no longer get notifications from people who aren't the original poster.

Also, you can now only post once every five minutes on Miiverse. The change was made to prevent multiple posts from the same person appearing on screen. This won't change the structure of the comments however, which will remain as they currently are.

Finally, some changes have been made to the Code of Conduct, more precisely to the ''By Gamers, About Games'' section. Nintendo has decided that off-topic posts no longer have a place on Miiverse. They want you as a user to stay on topic and remain relevant to the discussion. Furthermore, they don't condone openly asking for friend requests or pushing for agreement on a certain topic.

[Miiverse] Updates - February 6, 2013
More updates have come. I don't know if they updated for North America, but I'll check on that.

EDIT: North America is updated.

[Miiverse] Updates - February 20, 2013
Details:

- Through a new Player Posts button, you can filter communities to just see the comments from actual players.
- Your posts and reactions with spoilers have now an indication, so that they are easier to spot for yourself.
- In your list of followed users, there is now directly a button next to them, which allows you to unfollow them.
- You will see no more posts of people you block. Posts from blocked users still appeared in the communities, which is now no longer the case.

Yet another update to Miiverse. It's really nice to see posts/comments from those only who has played the game.

Update: Nintendo shares some more details about the upcoming features for Miiverse.

- Miiverse will be updated in a future version of the Wii U Software Development Kit
- will include features to improve interactions within games
- future games will have more Miiverse functions
- this includes the ability to send and receive comments, follow users from within a game, viewing follower lists, and view lists of people who Yeah'd their posts
- Miiverse posts will gain the ability to launch games at a specific point from a link in Miiverse
- example: posts from within levels in New Super Mario Bros. U are tagged with the in-game locations
- this would allow you to launch a level directly from a corresponding Miiverse comment
- Miiverse can be coupled with an online datastore, which could perform even more advanced functions
- user communities allow users to join via community code
- these communities will only be available to those that own a game and have a code
- this feature can be used to organize and hold tournaments
- Wii Fit U will be the first title to incorporate the feature
- players will be able to share training records and activity logs
- while not confirmed for development, Nintendo sees the potential to link stage editors to Miiverse
- the idea would allow you to create and direct an entire game from Miiverse

I'm happy that Miiverse on the internet has already come. Hopefully we'll be able to post from our computers soon. Closest thing we have is replying to comments.

Can't wait for it on the 3DS and the features Vip mentioned. Hopefully they make a feature, where you can reply to a specific comment, or multiple comments of your choosing.
