Announced at the Nintendo Digital Event (Tuesday, June 16, 2015)! Mario & Luigi crossing paths with Paper Mario! Exclusive to 3DS. Release: Thursday, December 3, 2015 (Japan); Friday, December 4, 2015 (Europe); Thursday, December 10, 2015 (Australia); Friday, January 22, 2016 (North America).

Exactly my thought. I mean, this looks okay at most and as a longtime Paper Mario fan, I really don't know what to feel and expect. I'm really skeptical and this could either turn into something just good or something terrible. I really wish they'd go back to the basics of what used to be Paper Mario. The original first three games were awesome and extremely fun to play. I still find myself playing TTYD every once in a while. In the other hand, Mario & Luigi, I never played all of their games, but Bowser's Inside Story was fun.

I really hope this is not another disaster. I wish we would get a standalone Paper Mario game instead and same for Mario & Luigi.
 
I expect a lot of disappointment when the game will be out... :mute: I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is a Mario & Luigi game. A lot of people think it'll be a Paper Mario game, but from what I saw in the video, it seems to be a M&L game with Paper Mario characters and elements in it. After all, the name is Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, and not Paper Mario something.

Anyway, since I love the M&L series (I still didn't try any Paper Mario game though, I should) this game will be a blast :D I'm so hyped for this!!

It's a Mario & Luigi game with Paper Mario elements.
It's clear since AlphaDream is developing it, not Intelligent Systems.

Both these comments apply to what I'm thinking on this. For a Mario&Luigi game, including the Paper characters and Paper Mario's abilities will really make things interesting as they've shown. I'm very interested in seeing how it'll turn out.

Of course it gives no hope towards there being no Paper Mario game like the original one though, saddly, but it isn't a Paper Mario game, so I still have hope that maybe one day Nintendo will think twice about that series and return it to it's roots on the WiiU. :p

...this comment also applies, since they showed a pixel Luigi before this was revealed. At the very least I expected Paper Luigi to be helping out as well. Very weird...
 
I know this is very early to speculate ML:pJ; in terms of what bosses can potentially appear in this game, I think there's going to be a Wiggler boss and a Blooper boss. Think about it. All Mario & Luigi games have had a Wiggler-type boss, and all Paper Mario games have had a Blooper-type boss. I believe the Wiggler one would most likely make it in just b/c this seems more inclined to Mario & Luigi gameplay. Mario & Luigi Dream Team already had a Wiggler boss that looks like an enlarged regular Wiggler, so it might not happen. I'm not making any promises, but it's a speculation. That being said, I wouldn't mind Wiggler from Paper Mario: Sticker Star appearing in ML:pJ.

Anyway it looks SOOO good!
Im a bit scared for now because it looks more like a Mario&Luigi game than a Paper Mario  :-\
But i hope they will greatly combine both!  :D
Maybe some fights IN the book of the Paper Mario universe with a more "Paper-Mario-ish" gameplay? That would be great!  ;D
Also,i really hope some fan-service with bosses like "Captain Shy Guy","Fawful","Antasma","Dimentio" That would be so awesome!!  ;D ;D ;D
But in all cases,i really can't wait for this game and it's my favorite from E3  :p
