Shy Guy's Perplex Express is kinda fun.
And i liked the transformations.

well for me, it had SPP, GBB, KBHH, a goood character roster (well a hell of a lot better than MP9's) a few awesome minigames and bgm's. and stuff.
I liked Mario Party 8's boards. They had some interesting mechanics like how the cabins change location in Shy Guy's Perplex Express and how King Boo's Haunted Hideaway randomly changes which keeps the layout of the board feeling fresh.
I actually love Mario Party 8!

MP8 has great duel games. I like all the minigames actually, except Flip the Chimp. The fact that the game picks that minigame EVERY TIME I PLAY makes me hate it more.
I also loved the character selection. I love playing as Toadette. Hammer Bro makes cute sounds too.
This game has good boards too. I'm not too crazy about Bowser's Warped Orbit though.

Chain Event in MP9 did a better job at it.

Mario Party 8 has a good Star Battle Arena mode, great Duel Maps, the candy system, 14 different characters, Koopa's tycoon town.
1.I liked that Toadette was playable.
2.The boards were FAR better then any other Mario Party I've ever played.
3.All but 1 of the minigames were cool. (It doesn't take E.Gadd to figure out what the one I hate is <coughflipchimpcough>)

1. Boards were amazing here. Liked the train one and the city one, especially.
2. New characters were great too. Could've been better, but more, the better.
3. 8-bit Candy was cool. Candy was cool, looking back, but orbs were better and were missed.
4. Carnival theme was okay.

Toadette, King Boo's Haunted Hideaway, and DK's Treetop Temple, and some of the minigames like Power Lift and Lava Lobbers.
I liked Koopa's Tycoon Town and Moped Mayhem and... yeah...
Oh wait! The promotional art was really nice, you know the parade of characters? I thought that was rather well done.

It's not my favorite, but I liked this Mario Party.
It had some good mini-games (Moped Mayhem, Lava or Leave em, Speedy Graffiti). Koopa's Tycoon Town was one of the good boards. The Candy Transformations were neat (Bitesize is one of them, you got to admit, that was a cool transformation). The voice clips were good and humorous as well.
It also has some great artwork (especially Yoshi's).

This, and the Candy was actually a decent system. You have to applaud it after MP9's nonsense with Dice Blocks.Sashe2705 said:

I wouldn't say that the dice blocks were "bad" but I'm also agreed for the candies to be better. Compared to the dice blocks, the candies offers more variety of uses whereas the dice blocks only have effect on the dice block and that's all. So the candies were a good system, quite different than the items and orbs, it was still well executed to my eyes.
