The first board of MP8. You get stars by paying 20 coins once you reach one, similar to the classic boards. DK throws you to the star, while Bowser moves the star. Both can be helpful in some way. For 5 coins, you can enter a DK Cannon and warp to one of the landing areas. The ? Spaces either take away 10 coins, exchange Candy for coins, warp you to the lilypad, or warp you to the first left Blue Space after the intersection.

This board is pretty decent, nothing could really screw you over.

DK's Treetop Temple is one of the better Mario Party 8 boards. The only board that has the classic way of collecting stars in Mario Party 8. That image of the overview is very nice, I must say.

Oddly enough, although it was a classic board, I didn't like it that much. It just seems a bit bland and boring.

Did not prefer this board. Probably because the regular way to play Mario Party just doesn't seem to be so fun on the Wii... with the star moving around... and the stupid candies... lack of proper Bowser spaces...

? spaces were all stupid as well.

Yeah  ~ probably my 2nd least favorite board in this game.

I love this board. The Happening Spaces are cool not stupid...
And Candy was also fun.

Out of all the boards in MP8, this is probably my least favorite. :/  I just prefer the linear ones more

Uggh...those are my least favorite. I don't like going in a straight line as much as exploring the boards.
And this was played the classic way of buying a star for 20 coins too.

Yes, I really love this board map. I liked the music. And the candy spaces and star spaces.

I liked this board alot! I just dont like the space where you're forced to trade a candy for coins. Other than that it was great. Ps I'm new to the forum!

Probably the best of the six boards. it was the only one to include the classic way of getting stars too.

I also liked the waterslide too!

If it's just the character names, well, that's obvious.

Otherwise, I demand you show proof or something!
Never had noticed anything like that before, but that's probably because I don't play this board often.

I did not play mario party 8 but i can already tell this board is better than his mario party 9 board being a bland circle in all.
