Yeah, I am going to have to agree with VIP, maybe a short amount of turns for a board. Maybe it should be with only registered Friends to make the probability of disconnections much less

The voting thing seems kinda broken. You can always just have one host who sets up the stuff and if it's friends only then they can easily chat and agree on the settings instead of random pick em style stuff. It's not like Mario Kart where you get to re-pick stuff after 3 minutes or so of racing.

No, I don't think it will be fun on wi-fi with all the cheaters and "disconnecters" out there.
Mario Karts series have suffered these two, so I think the MP series should stay without Wi-Fi.
"Disconnecters" are players/gamers which disconnect at certain points of the game to avoid their lose count increasing. There are certain points in Mario Kart DS where when you disconnect, your lose count will decrease.

Minigame mode should be used for Wi-fi. It's about time Mario Party had Wi-fi. Party mode might suffer so only 10-turns with random people and 20-turns for friends. Maybe records can be shared over Wi-fi as well.
I definitely think there should be wi-fi and I certainly do not think it should be limited to just mini-game mode. Like you guys said, they could have a friend list and trust me - there are other people out there who gets just as annoyed with d/cers as you do, so surely you can play a 20-turn game without having to worry about that
it should have wi-fi or it wouldn't be considered a real mario party like bowser says. but thats my opinion .

I think online would be good only if you were matched up with 3 random people (or friends), and you play Mini-Games.. No board or anything. If someone D/Cs, that player is replaced by another player searching for a game.
This would not work on actual boards/turn based games.. People would be pissed about joining so many games that have already started.
I'm sure they could think of something D:

mario party wasnt really considerd to be an online game but it seems quite interesting maybe it should be online but wi-fi on the nintendo wii can be confusing and can fail a lot plus you cant go online right away with random people you cant do that at very well if im correct you need to exchange friend codes so i guess maybe if your patient and will wait a bit then maybe but you would need at least 3 friends to play party mode unless there would be a duel mode (1on1 action) which there should be

Maybe, depends if it is just mini-games or a normal board mode. Normal board mode would create a lot of problems. Mini-games are ok if there aren't lag.
