Nintendo kind of owes us a Mario Party 9 after Mario Party 8....that was a near travesty of an MP saga game....if I had never played Mario Party, I might have enjoyed it more.

Another reason why MP9 should be released is that...
N64 has 3 Mario Parties, GCN has 4 Mario Parties, so Wii should have 3 Mario Parties.
Making Mario Party has 10 series and (probably) will stop at Mario Party 10.
Mario Party DSi... not going to be good after seeing how Mario Party DS look like.

Maybe it will be like this:
N64=3, GCN=4, Wii=5.
MPDS could have looked smoother and better, but Nintendo didn't get close to the regular DS's limit. Now, the DSi can handle twice the limit of the regular DS, so the graphics would look very good for a handheld. Not as close as Gamecube, but better than regular DS. And if they do make MPDS 2, they can use the entire 128mb cartrige size to not only inrease graphics, but also add more things into it, like more boards and actually have a host. More characters and more character voices. And maybe the menu's don't have to be with a background that is a moving wallpaper.

By 'look like' do you mean graphic wise? Because even MPDS could have looked better, but for some reason, Nintendo didn't really do much with graphics. Only 32mb of the full 128mb DS cartrige was full, which means that it could have been inproved graphic-wise.Real Hammer Bro said:

Maybe that idea went down the drain because of the failure of Mario Party 8.
Well MPDS came out after that but then again that wasn't the most successful of games either which helps the whole down the drain thing.Ether said:

If we want mario party 9 to be good it needs time so id say it should be realesed mid-late 2010 cause we havent heard any annoucments on the game yet or trailers or previews at E3 or other places so mid-late 2010 sounds good to me
MP9 will probably come out in the first half of 2010. It'd be WAY cool if it was realeased before Christmas because it would most likely sell more to use as gifts but it might not happen. :'(
If Mario Party 9 were to come out, then the North American version would surely be terrible because of how Nintendo handles their newer games like garbage. Other than that, Mario Party 9 might never come out.

i say it should come out on Jan. 9, 2010 and they should make a space board game in mario party 9 and that way people can play a space board game. that what i think people.
