Triple Jump (MP5)

[Pseudo_dino]

This is that 4-Player game in MP5 where you have to tap A, then B, then A to jump the farthest.

Your thoughts, comments, etc. on this game?

I thought that this mini-game was absolutely evil. I can't even beat Normal CPU's on this. I guess it has extremely high standards for tapping speed.

Exactly, I hate this game since its wy to hard to go far. I'd like to know how they got 90 feet on this. The developers.

[Darkboo007]

It's easy to get over 90 ft
I've gotten over 90 ft, 121.59 ft to be exact. You got to practice, that what I did

[Pseudo_dino]

:-\ I do practice, unfortunately it seems to get me nowhere. I can't tell if the game is even possible.

[Darkboo007]

It's possible, I wish I had a cam to pic my record that my friend made which is 131.23
It's just that you can press it fast on the 1st A and your highest is about 30 ft, the B can make you go to 75 or 80 and the last A can last extremely long

[Timmy]

I'm pretty good at this game. I don't exactly remember my record though. Although I somehow do better if I have to press A than B. Probably because my fingers go over the place and they go more on A. And no, I do not cheat using Turbo.

LOL You can't use turbo correctly on this mini-game, the max I seen w/ turbo is like 95 ft. Try gliding a pen for A although I use my index finger

I still get over 100 ft. with my method of pressing buttons repeatedly. and I did practice mode using turbo; it went horrible

Ugh, this mini-game was a pain with the computers. It's hard to score a decent record here, looks like Dark Boo has special advice here. Maybe he could upload a video of himself of how good he is in this mini-game.

[mostachedpolar]

I suck at this game! I lose to easy CPU's sometimes!

[H-J Kaabii]

Another button masher. One of the worst in the series.

I can't really be bothered to grab a pen and use the slider, since the buttons are far too large.

[chaosshadow123]

Weird I just played it and I can't get past the starting record. But yeah I guess this game is okay.

[cookieboy17]

I sucked at this game. Terribly.

I need to buy a camera since I have no camera... drats!!!

Watching someone play with a turbo controller is unamusing anyway.

[Pseudo_dino]

I think of turbo controllers as cheating because it's not really your abilities helping you pwn the game.

I think of it as "Shit I suck at button mashing games oh whoops i just pressed this button and now im good at this game!"

[Pseudo_dino]

Yeah, but still, you wouldn't use one for record listings on MPL, would you?
WOULD YOU? (glares)

I don't use turbo for mini-games where you can break records. I just use them for mini-games like Wind Wavers or Merry Poppings, to be honest.

[Pseudo_dino]

Oh, I really don't mind that then. As long as it doesn't actually affect anything.
I guess it doesn't really belong here, but can't you win Wind Wavers alone?
