The Blue Channel: Season 1 - Mario Party 9

Hey Guys,

I called the other Toads to come over and play with me for Mario Party 9's Multiplayer Madness!!

Anyway, I will tell all of you what I think about it on my review due on April 14!

I was talking to the Toad Brigade just now, and Mario Party 9 will start live over the chatbox in the next hour!!!

I am under the name "Toad Party" on the chatbox when Mario Party 9 is LIVE.

Player 1: Blue Toad (me)
Player 2: Purple Toad
Player 3: Green Toad
Player 4: Yellow Toad

Just finished playing Mario Party 9. It will be live tomorrow.

Anyway, there are three reasons on what I like/dislike about Mario Party 9:

What I like about Mario Party 9:

[*]Like they removed the Stars and Coins, they replaced them with Mini-Stars, and it's quiet easy to get.
[*]The In-game controls are perfect to handle during Board and Mini-game gameplay.
[*]The Boss Battles are so easy. You will not get kicked out or anything like that. But just get the most points to win.

What I dislike about Mario Party 9:

[*]The Bowser Jr. Mini-games are dreaded. You could lose Mini-Stars in Single Player. However, it may not when working with another player instead of a CPU.
[*]Reverse Mini-games always makes me fail. Because I'm trying to get out first, but another player just pushes me out of the way.
[*]Solo Mode is tricky, Kamek and Shy Guy are playing for Bowser and they get harder when the player progresses.

So far I gave 85% for Single Player and 91% for Multiplayer.

Anyway, more of the review will be published next month.

Going to try out DK's Jungle Ruins tonight!!

Here's an update;

You may have thought that I've defeated Toad with 127 Mini-Stars in DK's Jungle Ruins, Wrong!

I lost to him by 101 Mini-Stars in Bowser Station just now! I also managed to recover 5 Mini-Stars from what as know as 'Bowser's Influence'.

More tomorrow.

Ahh!! I had 48 Mini-Stars in Toad Road and guess how many that Toad had...

81 Mini-Stars!!

I also played another game in Bob-omb Factory, my favorite board.

But I lost to Purple Toad by 62 Mini-Stars. All four players landed on the added Bowser Spaces at the end of the board in 1 turn.

Another 5 Mini-Stars have been revived from the Influence caused by Bowser.

I only played Shell Soccer, which was so funny, but I lost to Green and Yellow Toads. I restored the remaining Mini-Stars with my Party Points, I also saw the Staff Credits and purchased all the Sound items.

I tried out Castle Clearout, which is similar to Block Star in Mario Party 6. It was easy, but I managed to get up to level 14. Another match will occur in half an hour.

• Toad Road

• Boo's Horror Castle

* And that Toad is not attending the three above.
