Should Cartoon Network be rated T for Teen?

I know they aren't idiots.  Stop acting like you know so much, dammit.  =P

Kids have "simple" minds.  I know they aren't dumb, and I never said they were dumb.  And I'm speaking generally, here.  They can tell when they're being tricked usually, so stop acting as though I'm saying they're idiots who do everything they see on TV.

Kids obviously aren't influenced as directly as you guys are talking about.  Read my first post dammit.  What they see on TV does influence their opinions outside just as it does for adults.

Goodness, I know how smart kids can get.  Don't make assumptions and think I don't know anything about kids.  I hate it when people make dumb assumptions.

Obviously parents can work hard to tell kids what's wrong and what's right, but everything they see anyways (in TV or out TV) alters their opinions on life, even slightly.

Anyways, I think I'm moving the subject elsewhere.  To get back on track, me, I don't really have a strong opinion as to what CN should do with the ratings.  Of course, parents should know what their kids are watching, but stations should also be sure about who they're targeting.

CN, now specifically, I don't know too much since I don't have CN, anymore.

Edit: "Simple" was a bad word to use since the definition for that differs for everyone.  My bad.

You know Cartoons dont have to be for kids... They can be for teens and adults too and still be able to be seen by kids.

And you completely missed the point of Mirs' post.

I love the irony of that post since you didn't get Mirs' earlier post about how kids can get influenced by television.

What's funny is that my post actually made sense, but you're just butthurt over the fact that I "insulted" a fellow member.

As I know, First,  most kids like catching a lot of attention, when they do it's usually something stupid off of television. Second, kids can get straightforwardly influenced by almost anything, good and mostly bad things, most television because an adverage kids spends many hours watching televion a day. Third, one of the smartest persons in america is a 6 year old child (Or was it 7?).

I know children deserve to know some of the real world but some cartoon content exceeds that limit for them, I personally hate it when kids try to act 15 years old when they are only 8 years old.
