Shell Soccer

Shell Soccer

Type: Extra

Be the first team to take out the other side's seven Goombas to win! Shells can ricochet off the walls. Use this to your advantage when aiming for your opponents' Goombas.

DPad: Move, Adjust Angle

1: Shoot

2: Pass, Steal

This minigame is very easy unless the other team cooperates with each other.

I liked this mini-game and I played it a lot, it just seemed very short because me and my teammate cooperate and ricochet the shells of the walls. A nice Mario Party version of Soccer, not as good as Mario Strikers but still good.

The only 2vs2 minigame. Do you think they made this one up before making it a regular 2vs2 minigame before deciding to make the game as it is?

Good game, still. I had fun playing it against 2 Master CPU's with an easy winning.

Pretty fun actually.
I don't think I've ever lost here.

This game isn't half bad, and it is pretty easy. The sad part is I have yet to play this with human players.

That's probably the case. They probably liked it so much that they decided to keep it in, despite not having 2vs2 mini-games.

This mini-game is fun! I don't think I've ever lost either. XD

I take a very sharp angle to snag the most Goombas when at the corner of my goal, too easy. And yes, it's the only 2-vs.-2 minigame available in Mario Party 9, but only in Extras Mode.

I like the minigame very much but what I don't like about it is that you can pass to your teammate if he's a CPU, but he can't pass you!

A fun, frantic way to pass the time and score a lot of points. GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

[Vipsoccermaster]

A very fun mini-game, and heck, I love it! But it's kinda hard to score when there are fewer Goombas, because the shell can ricochet at awkward angles and miss a Goomba or two. It's a shame that it's the only 2-vs.-2 mini-game in Mario Party 9, I was hoping for more.
