For those of you interested, these are the some of the specs:

Windows 7 Professional ('cuz 8 won't do XD)
Intel Core i7 3770K
32GB DDR3 SDRAM
2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 660
2 TB Hard Drive
Blu-ray Combo Drive

jesus that's a good computer. How much is/was it?

I'll be getting it in September, when my financial aid comes in. It'll cost $1,200, which isn't bad when comparing the prices of the parts on Newegg.

chubbo what on earth are you going to be playing on that

Well...I'm gonna be working in the computer science field, when I obtain my degrees (I plan on getting my Masters). I'm gonna work to become a computer programmer/game programmer, so I thought I'd get a strong PC that could do a shitload of work. I'm gonna be in all computer science-heavy classes (game design and development, Adobe Photoshop, C++, Python, Java, etc.) for the next few years, so I wanted to go all out. I also wanna start playing games on PC, since my current PC is a pile of shit. I've been wanting to do this for some time, but I've just never had a decent computer. The best I've ever had is (and am currently using):

Windows 7 Professional
Intel Pentium 4
2GB RAM, though my PC only recognizes one of my RAM sticks, so basically 1GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6200
120GB HDD
DVD Burner

What type of Math Courses you have to take? I know many people who's going for Computer Sci and they had almost the same math course outline like me. (Cal I II and III and Computer Sci and Discrete Math)

I only have to take College Algebra (for my Associates), but that's probably due to the fact that I'm currently going to Community College. Once I transfer to a 4-year, I'll probably take more Math courses, in order to get my Bachelors and Masters.

you can complain about a job once you work two at the same time.

to be fair, one of my jobs almost kind of doesn't exist. My manager at ShameStop hates me with a passion, so he just keeps me on payroll and doesn't give me hours, so I'm going to the mall stores to pick up odd hours and such.
I CAN COMPLAIN NOW BECAUSE I ACTUALLY WORK AT GAMESTOP FREQUENTLY NOW

Summer semester is over for me (a day early). The final grades haven't been posted to my transcript yet, but they're already calculated. Here they are:

Accounting Principles I: A
Art Appreciation: A
English Composition II: A

I'm working my damndest to maintain my 4.0 GPA, so I'll rake in some scholarships. I should be notified about my status anytime now, since the college said we'd (the applicants) be "notified on or around August 1st."

It'd be a damn shame to have nothing to show for it.

I checked the mail and surely enough, I got a scholarship! It awards me $750 each semester for the 13-14 academic year!

I can't wait for fall to start! =)

Speaking of which, here's my Fall 2013 schedule, which begins on August 19th:

Adobe Photoshop I
Fundamentals of Unix
Game Design & Development
Intro to Python Programming

Until when, Chubzster? I hope you enjoy your Game Design & Development class! Sounds interesting!

I will only take one class this semester, and that's Introduction to Business. Only on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM PST/PDT.

I start on Monday, August 26, 2013, until Thursday, December 5, 2013, with finals the week after.

I've been anticipating this semester all year. With my core classes out of the way, I can finally focus on computer science.

OMG PYTHON PROGRAMMING
I used that program in my Multivariable Calculus class (As ridiculous as that sounds)

Haha, I feel the same way. Now that I got the A.A. Degree, of which I got the general education classes out of the way, I can focus taking things slowly now.
