Previous Mario Parties allow you to save 3 save files which are COMPLETELY SEPEARTE.

I think it should be done differently.

I think everyone should share the same save file, so records will be the same, but allow for 3 party games to be saved. Similar to Mario Power Tennis. I believe this will be more fairer and easier.

I agree. This isn't Zelda so there is no need for extra save files and having the 3 saves for Party Boards and Story Mode is a great idea. MPDS had more reasons to have separate files but i still prefer to have them all in one.

I wish that minigame records could save my name or initial so that I know whose record it is.

OK, Zelda games aren't the only games that deserve to have the 3 save files

Maybe Hudson has a good reason to have those save files. I think it's just fine. I just ignore the other empty files and pretend that they don't exsist.

I think one save file with multiple party game data is better than multiple save files with only one party game data each.
Starting a new save file isn't good, because you need to collect the whole boards, characters, and minigames from zero again.
But for the minigame records data, I'm still thinking about this...

I agree. saving a few parties would be cooler. I can't believe nintendo hasn't done this yet

One file is enough. There was no need for the extra two files. I play one file and thats it. It's just a waste of a screen. For Mini-Game Records, I don't know.

One file is better than multiple files.There is no need at all for extra files unless...You want to restart again and copy your previous file then delete it.

Yes, but all MP games afterwards has seperate files.

Well I don't care whether it's one or 3. I always have 3 files anyways though (me, my sister, and some random one I make for no reason).

i think you should be given 3 files, but the records are kind of merged. for example, in file 1, the record is 1208 points, but in file 2, the record is 1212 points. in each file, there are two records. one is YOUR RECORD; the one you got in that file. the other is FILE RECORD; the best record between the other two files. also, 2 parties can be saved at once for each file.
