Pitifall is a Duel Mini-Game from Mario Party 6. Its basically just random. You and your oponent select 1 out of 3 ropes each and then swing out in the middle of nowhere. The person who lands on the platform wins. If neither land on the platform, Lakitu randomly selects one and places them on the platform(this is the part i dislike)

It's all about luck, and you have to land on it if you can. I hated this mini-game overall.
Terrible duel mini-game. Equally as bad as Get a Rope from Mario Party 5.

Back when I was younger, I thought there was turn order. So I was like pick already!!!! then I picked the rope I wanted. Then eventually, I just realized that there was no turn order. Anyways, I didn't really like this luck mini-game, especially if no one got the right rope and fly guy chooses randomly. He usually chooses the CPU. It should've just been like a tie or something if no one got the right rope.

I think 1 rope automatically has a Fly Guy to pick the person up if the person picks the 3rd rope, so like they have a programmed "2nd place" rope.H-J カービイ said:Lol, Get a Rope.

I hate Luck Mini-Games like this, there annoying as heck. Especially when stars are on the line. :/
I hate when my coins go to chance. This one is a perfect example.
UGH! A COMPLETE LUCK MINI-GAME AND I HATE IT! This is one of the worst mini-games ever.
To be honest, this is one of the more exciting luck minigames around. Maybe it's just me, but I find the high speed flying with a hope of solid platform... a bit exciting in it's own right.
I don't like this mini-game at all. The worst combination ever, a luck/duel mini-game. It has screwed me over so many times . There should be a limit to luck mini- games, they are fun to play, but I believe in more high stakes mini-games like Duel and Battle mini-games they should not be included at all.
