MPL reaches 1000 members!!!

[cookieboy17]

Since its opening on New Years 2009 (technically 12/31/08), MPL has slowly grown. 100 members by April Fools that year. 391 profiles created by the end of the year. 500 members on April 7th, 2010. 888 profiles created by the end of 2010. 2011 brought in more members. The 1000th profile was created on February 27, 2011. But when you include the amount of ad bots and other banned members there were, there was still under 900 members on the memberlist by late April in 2011. Then, after having a post by Aegis featured in a cracked.com article, many new members joined. Over 100 members and couting. Among them, we received our 1000th member on the memberlist.

So cheers to 1000, MPL has come far. And cheers to the next 1000!

To celebrate, we will be opening the MPL Timeline board. In the MPL timeline board we will try to recount as much MPL history as possible. So join us there as we celebrate!

Hurray! 1000 star present!  I mean, 1000 members wooohooo! Congrats.

1000 star present is pretty cruel cause when I was a kid I thought Bowser would come back like 20 turns later and give it to you and when he never did I always thought he forgot. :-[

I thought it was 100 Star Present...

But yeah, 1,000 members, that aren't banned or deleted. But the profile numbers says otherwise.

We'll eventually get 2,000 members, but I think that won't happen until 2013 or so.

We've been getting new member at a higher rate this year without the cracked article so there's a chance it could happen before the world ends and stuff. But it's pretty crazy how more people have joined in this short month than in 2009's year-wide tota.

Before Friday, December 21, 2012?

But yeah, it's weird how 2011 beat all the other years in Most Online and New Members, but it has yet to beat topics, posts, and page views.

Then again, I bet it will be very difficult to break the Most Online again. 407 is pretty dang impressive, for a forum like this.

There's a hyperlink on the 'seeing them in other levels' part which links to MPL.

For real.

Happy 1000 members though, just wish more of them were active lmao

[Vipsoccermaster]

30 out of 1,000 is just a measly 3% of the active members posting. That's too low. We seriously need more of that. We should see at least 20% of it.
