I emailed the Japan Nintendo company to ask them if hudson soft has mentioned anything about Mario Party 9, and they responded that they had a chat for about 5 minutes about the Mario Party Series, and they mentioned beginning a new project about Mario Party. But doesn't know if it's Mario Party 9 that was being mentioned. Though, I don't recognize the person I was speaking to. The name had japanese letters and the writer didn't respond in good english. So, I really don't know if I should believe him/her.

Let me see. Well actually, the message is in english. The writer wrote in english, it's just not in good english. Only the name is in Japanese, and I think it's Kanji. I asked a friend and he thinks that it's in Kanji. Here's the name:

The surname is in kanji; I suspect it says "Asuron" or something like that. The given name is in hiragana, and says "Yurie".

From what I can tell, they're being fairly honest about it. The words before the name mean Yours sincerely or something like that.
Try sending an email to Yurie again and see if he/she knows someone who did attend that meeting. We should keep a contact between company and site open, for benefit on both sides.
