This has bothered me a lot of times... but the question is why this is still in the Mario Party series?
What do you think about luck minigames? And does it really have a good function to the game?

Basically luck minigames should be combined with skill to, like for minigame example:
There are 4 paths you don't what it looks like, each has different difficulty to get to the end of the path.

They can get very annoying, especially when its a battle or a duel minigame (which is where they usually are).

I think luck minigames should only appear as one group, like the Game Guy Minigames from MP3.
I just played in Game Guy's room in Mario Party 3 for 1,000 coins. :p

Anyway, Luck mini-games are tricky and could lead to frustrastion, but many of them aren't necessary. There should be like one or two of them, or like Topper1 said.

These games can be cheating. Weak players can possibly win, and difficult players can possibly lose.

Trick or Tree
Pitifall
Same is Lame
Strawberry Shortfuse
Balloon Busters
Ghost in the Hall
Deck Hands
Slot-o-Whirl
You're the Bob-Omb
Cut from the Team

These are examples of luck minigames from Mario Party 6, 7, and 8. If we had the ability to choose only certain minigames for Mario Party 9, then the amount of luck minigames will be the same.
