Where did you get it for $40?

This movie/videogame store around here that focuses on selling older games, movies, and accessories relating to games. (Called Willow Video - also the place where I got that Yoshi wallet)
I actually never thought I would have found anything related to the WiiU there at all, so I was surprised to have gotten it for this price! (They also had Basic WiiU sets for about $30 lower than the retail price)

Probably the only store that would give lower prices for games on Boxing Day as well. XD
