Item Bag

Only in Mario Party 3, both shops have an item bag available that fills up all your item spaces. Do you guys ever buy it and if you do do you usually get good deals or no?


I tend to buy them more from Toad than Baby Bowser if I do unless I just dont care because with Toad you have a better chance at getting like a magic lamp or boo repellant to keep. I dont buy it too often though, only when I'm stacked with money and even then I only do it sometimes cause you can lose money fast before you know it. I usually hope I get a rare item.

I will never buy this over a direct Magic Lamp or Boo Bell, but sometimes I buy it if neither is available.

I only do it when I have like 150+ coins and have no items prior to buying it.

And good deals? It's random. But getting the items you stated are good, especially a Wacky Watch. I hate it if I get teo of the same item. It'd be a great deal if the items you get would have cost you more than 30 coins.

I will buy this if i have +130 coins. Here is what i have discovered in my bag before

Bad: Skeleton Key, Skeleton Key and Warp Blcok
Good: Magic Lamp, Boo Repallent and Mushroom

That's when I'll buy it, and most of the time that I do I can rare items.

No, I always get screwed over and get one crappy item and 2 keys. Though one time I got 2 Magic Lamps from it and I was like "". But yeah, I don't really rely on item bags.

They're not exactly reliable, but they can be a lot of fun when you're rich.

I felt the same way. Usually, I'd have 100 coins or so, and if I didn't have anything on me or a decent lead, I'd buy it just to see what luck I'd get. I got a lot of keys, though.

I usually buy one when I have around 70 coins and no items, and its a good deal if you get rare or good items and if all 3 items cost more then 30 coins
