Well, if someone laughs at you and just says (LOL), then that would be spam. But

HAHAHAHAHAHHA! A Thwomp could produce a force of OVER 9000 Newtons! Remember! Force= Mass x Accelaration! Since the Thwomp is very heavy, and he drops really, really quick, his force is extra strong!

I would most likely want to keep Toad. But if I did have to choose...it'd probably be Dry Bones.

He could've been replaced by birdo. Teams would've worked like this;

Mario-Luigi
Peach-daisy
Wario-Waluigi
Yoshi-Birdo

Toad is BY FAR more important than Birdo.

Seriously, I don't get whats with the replacing Toad business, what other character could replace Toad? No one really. Sure, many people say DK, but it's obvious that he wasn't going to return. Toad is a very important character in the Mario series, so replacing him would be like replacing Yoshi with Toadette, it wouldn't make sense. And all the other characters HAD roles, like:

Boo - In Mini-games
Toadette - Had her own board
Dry Bones - Boss battle
Hammer Bro - Boss battle
Birdo, Blooper, & Baby Bowser weren't in the game (Though it's a shame Baby Bowser wasn't in it, yet they put in Bowser Jr. ALSO, LOL ALL B'S)

C'mon, It's a shame a topic like this exists (No offense to SZ), we don't question characters like Daisy or Wario, yet we question if Toad should be in a game? It's quite unfair against him. Also, Toad does fit in with Yoshi, since there both not humans, they both have many colors of themselves, and there both cute.
