You surely have another goal in life that you care about and they just... can't force you, it's your life, I think you should be able to do what you want, obviously. Also, it doesn't mean because you have the majority age that you are forcilly ready...
Take me as an example... I'm 21 in like 1 month, and I still haven't finish high school. (Yes, you heard me, I'm in Sec 4 for some subjects and still need Sec. 5.) doesn't have a job and nothing like that and I am far from being independant because my parents still need to help me with most basic things... and by basic I mean 'really basic' and seeing a situation like that to me would be... no... I can't even think about that... I'm so sorry it does happen with you.

Keep your head up Swangler. Someone in my family dropped out recently as well (for different reasons, I'm not going to elaborate), pull yourself together and get back on a new path.
In other news, I got a B+ on my Trend Paper, so I'm super happy about that. It's worth 40% of my college writing class's grade, so I'm pretty much set to get a B+ or better in that class.

All 90's or above for this semester even though I got a 71 on a math test.
I finished my second term with a B, A-, A, and A- in Psychology, College Writing, Trigonometry, and Computer Applications 2 respectively.
