Do you like how MP7 gave every player a counterpart?

[SpiderStaryu]

Do you guys like how MP7 made every player have a partner? I never really thought about it, but after MP7, I noticed certain characters are always grouped together, and I can't really picture them separated.

Mario+Luigi
Peach+Daisy
Yoshi+Birdo
Wario+Waluigi
Toad+Toadette
Boo+Dry Bones
Yoshi+Toad (MPDS)

[Vipsoccermaster]

Yeah, all the character combinations are reasonable up there. But sometimes you can do other combinations, whether or not it's an easy one or a hard one, especially in Mario Party 7, with the Special Orbs.

[Shaby]

This Mario Party was specifically made for Team Tags and Deluxe Mode!

I like how everybody has a partner in this game! Nobody is forever alone! Except Toadsworth...

[chaosshadow123]

Yeah, it was cool how every person got a partner, who had the same special orb as them as well.

[Wacky109]

I liked the idea that everyone had a partner.  However, I was not a fan of the team mode.  They should have kept the original team mode..  like the ones from the older games.

I also liked the idea of how all characters has their own orb.  (Toad and Toadette would have Triple Mushroom Orb.)

[Chubbo1793]

I thought it was good, not that I ever played with teams much.

[yoshi402]

It was really cool that they put this in. I lime the Fireball Orb a lot and it really suits their specific players well.

[ChickenLegs]

It IS hard to picture them seperated!  I like how they recougnized this in MP7 though.

[GalaxyToad]

I liked this feature as well as it really gave some of the characters a more meaningful connection throughout the game. Perhaps it didn't mean much; however, it is nice to see our favourite characters teaming up together.

[deadlyximpulse]

I think it was a very good unique feat and should be add to future mario parties and make DK and Diddy Kong partners 8)

[gameguy1996]

I liked this idea but as time want on this system was slowley taken out.Like how toadette and dry bones were removed and toad, boo and birdo would be yoshi's counterpart in different games.

[NintendoPhratBoy227]

Didn't really care to me"
just played Mario Party 7 just like any other Mario Party, but if i had a favorite pair'
it would be Toad & Toadette, cuz to me they just make the perfect pair in my opinion.

[SuperZambezi]

I liked it, but it sucks that Koopa Kid got the boot because of it. I don't see why else he was taken out.

Would you guys say that the partner system carried on to Mario Party 8? You could pair Blooper and Hammer Bro. as classic characters.

[Yoshiman222]

Not exacally too much myself - I usually end off pairing different players up together like Mario and Peach, or Yoshi and Boo.
I mostly dislike this because then Mario doesn't get the advantage of using Peach's special orb and vice-versa.

Maybe if it didn't make so much of a difference having counterparts using the same items.

Still - I like my teams as I put them, even if some do agree with the Mario Party Partner system.

[HerbertMcHoover]

Loved it. The special orbs just brought a new cool element to the game that we haven't seen before or after this game.

[Brookelas]

Personally, I like the Partner System. Every spinoff game uses them, but sometimes they are hidden. Take MKW for example. They were there, as side by side on the roster. Same as MTO, MP8, MP9, and MK7
