Do some characters seem more advanced than others?

Like I know when I play usually there would be some characters like DK or Luigi or Yoshi or Boo and stuff that just seem to never do good, especially when it came to minigames and stuff. But then there'd be like Waluigi and Peach who'd do good and then for some reason Daisy seems to just be a huge bitch every time I play with her.


Anyone see things that way?

I don't think so. They're all supposed to be equal in all kinds of attributes.

I know but it just seems like some characters just do better for some reason. I mean it's not like DK sucks in every game I play with him as a cpu, but it's just that most of the time when it's like him and daisy daisy wil beat him.

Are you sure that's not based on what difficulty the CPU is on?

No I always put them on the same thing on hard or brutal or whatever but it's just like a little thing I noticed.

Now that I think about it, it does happen from time to time. Perhaps the AI increases its ability as you near the end of the game?

Me too I notice that, and that's one of the reason of why I hate Toad when he's a CPU.

Hey I've been through that too it's like they have character stats!
It's cool sometimes they probably automaticly give it their all when it's almost over like real humans when they're losing!

I see what you mean, Cook. I know when I play with certain characters they seem to be set at a certain AI when playing with them. Sorta like how you can change the AI to do certain things on some RPG's.

Yeah, I think it's pretty common in video games. I haven't really notice particular behavior on the latest Mario Partys, but when i'm playing some of the old Mario Parties, I would notice that Wario would almost always be in last place, and it's particularly with Player 3 (or 4?)... It could be possibly that's how they were programmed, like on Dance Summit 2001, one character in a team is normally always doing horrible/getting less points, and then there's other just doing great.

Yes that's why i hate Peach, toadette, birdo and donkey kong. They always seem to win. But when i play the orginal Mario Party Luigi sucks so much he is always last.

Hell YEA!!!! Especially on weak. They be acting like they're on Hard and Brutal. I be like WTF, how she/he do that. And I hate on MP8 when your computer partner is Very Hard and the opponent is easy and when they face in a Duel Mini-Game (USUALLY EYE BRAWL)  The easy player be acting all hard and the Brutal player act so weak

The computers are always different for me. Not one character does good all the time, it changes. I've noticed that whenever Wario is playing, he just loves to screw my friend over. =P

For some reason Peach always seems to be the one who always happens to be the lucky ones, landing on the best spaces, winning all the luck minigames, and getting the biggest dice rolls.

Luigi. He just seems to be more advanced. Peach always likes to screw me (No, not that way!) and Wario always likes to help me. Don't know why.
