Do you want Mario Party 9 to have customizable stages?

I think this would be cool. I've been thinking about how this could work for quite some time.
> First choose a theme (Desert, Snow, Space, etc)
> Type of board (Classic, Splurge, etc) (Maybe only using classic would be easier)
> Place spaces (On a grid of about 15x15, only place Blue spaces and start)
> Change spaces (Add red, event, Bowser, etc.)
---> Event spaces could be altered by selecting different events from a menu like plus or minus coins, move to another space, etc, and each is matched to the theme, for example a dolphin moves you to another space in the sea...
> Rules (how much for a star, etc)
> Name and other details.

Sorry for the long post, I felt I wanted to share my ideas.

It will have to be very easy to use. But I sometimes think that it wouldn't be a very good thing. Maybe with limited amount of things that can be added, mostly because, what would be the point of Hudson Soft-made boards then? The boards that are already made professionally? So, only with limited things, like only having classic star rules, places to get items, maybe the ? spaces would be in a category that has the spaces do basic effects. One could be like making you lose 10 coins, one could be that you get an item or some coins by playing a board mini-game etc.

Choosing themes would be cool too. I can maybe have them completely listed:
Meadow, Desert, Snow, Space, Mountain, Cave, City, Rainbow(a Rainbow Road themed board), Castle (with maybe a choice of Bowser or Peach's Castle), Lava, Beach, Moving Vehicles(like maybe a Train, Ship, Airplane.), Jungle, Sky, Garden, Undersea, Futuristic.
Well, maybe not a complete list, but it's what came out of my head.

As TOPPER1 and madstarr said, having pre-defined themes would be good; that way it can solve some of the problems associated with ? spaces.

Re Waluigi14: that should be easy, but I would not agree with customising item prices. I'd guess you could alter the FREQUENCY, though.

As for Star Spaces: easy, just select a couple of possible Blue Spaces.

1. It's Waluigi48.
2. Maybe you can upload your stages with Wi-fi on the internet and download other custom stages. Kind of like Flipbook Studio. I'm just a suggester though.  :)

i'm not sure be cause the ? spaces will be hard because they wont make a complete list of those ? spaces, but maybe they will put a list of what will happen if you put one of those ? space down.for example: maybe they have a return to start one so they click on that one and then put it somewhere.but another thing. what about the path. the path is going to be blank if there isn't a good path. for example mario party 4 has a lame path. but mario party 1 2 3 5 ... have exciting paths.
