3DS XL

The big brother to the 3DS. Its screens are 90% larger. I want to get this but I already have a 3DS. Might trade it in. What do you guys think? The layout is generally the same but of course with bigger screens being the most notable feature. It will be released August 19th, the same day as New Super Mario Bros. 2.

And it will have longer battery life, too. Talk about an improvement. I might trade it in, but not sure. However, it might be worth it since it's still early in the lifespan of the 3DS.

I might get it my wireless switch is broke.It does look good playing it on a bigger screen though.

they emphasized art on the 3DS would be better since it allows you more room to draw. I don't draw on my 3DS but it might be reason to.

True, but even then, consumers and use the system transfer to transfer your content to the new 3DS.

Not too surprised since they did it with the DSi. It looks like crap imo, and looks like it'll need a Circle Pad XL, which wouldn't be attractive.

I'm gonna stick with my original 3DS.

I'm not into the idea of trading in a perfectly good 3ds just to get a bigger one that I wouldn't be able to carry in my pockets. Besides, with how little Gamestop gives you for a system, I'd probably still have to pay around 140 or so to get the 3ds xl

It doesn't seem like a bad idea if you still haven't gotten a 3ds yet though. It depends on how much more the 3ds xl would cost than the normal 3ds. Extra battery life would be useful but it's not like the 3ds has a really limited battery life as is.

Some game developers like Mr. Konno wanted a bigger screen.
