Interesting, but they wouldn't use it. Unless they are crazy enough.
I think it could work. I'd probably still like 3 vs 1, and 2 vs 2 better though.
Don't see them useing it.
It's not a bad idea- but as Reila said, 3vs1 and 2vs2 is probably better...
minigame: 3 way road
3 cars a riding a road. 1 has 2 people. Eventually, it is guaranteed that 2 cars will crash (not luck based though). The car that doesn't crash wins!

I can't see this happening 
basically the only way I could see any 2 vs 1 vs 1 is that is like a 3 way free for all game but with 2 on one team
