Emerald, contrary to popular belief, is nothing like Ruby/Sapphire. You basically battle trainers to collect Jiggies (once you get 100 you battle Gruntilda whose team is filled with level 100s).

It's the best game of the series IMO.

Crystal is my favourite so I guess I prefer Gold/Sliver/Crystal. I also enjoyed Fire Red and Leaf Green so they would be my next favourites. All of the other Pokemon games bored me.
