What is your favorite Mario game ever? Mine would have to be Super Mario Galaxy. The beautiful graphics, amazing orchestrations and the gameplay was amazing! Only downside was the motion control crap, but still it was an amazing game.

Hmmm . I can't really decide ;D. I'll list the ones I love most : Galaxy 2 , 3D World , The Mario & Luigi Series (except for Partners in Time , never played it) , Super Paper Mario , and Mario Kart Wii .
Super Mario 3D World; I can't get enough of the wonderfully designed worlds, levels, graphical style, jazzy orchestral music, multiple playable characters (Male and Female, mind you), and the multiplayer.
It's a hard choice, but I've finally decided... Mario Teaches Typing 2!

Super Mario World had great color and graphics, TONS of content, it was addictive, and was so well thought and designed! On the bus, I'd be playing nothing but Super Mario World (on the GBA) and I 100%ed it in two weeks! And when I beat the final level (Funky), I immediately wanted to do it all over again! ;D

I would say maybe mario kart DS it wasn't great but It was he start of my love for Mario games. Before that I was Hardcore Pokemon.
I can't choose between the 2 Galaxy games . Super Paper Mario is one of my favorites, too.

I guess Mario Kart 8 took the spot to me so far, because of many additions which makes it a perfect game to me... as in the Koopalings, the awesome tracks and musics, and about everything about this game is actually quite enjoyable really, though these are my favorite things. This game is completely outclassing the others to me but I still like these of course.

One that Ive had lots of fun with was Super Mario World on the SNES, unfortunately I havent the skills/patience to beat the last castle.

Well, as others have already said, this is a tough decision, so my favorite Mario game would be between Super Mario World 1 & 2(Yoshi's Island), Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. I picked all of these mostly because of Childhood bias, but SMW1 was a great Mario platformer(refer to smwcentral.net), Yoshi's Island is underrated for what it is, Super Mario 64 was the first 3D Mario game and was classic, and even though Sunshine is mixed opinion(some liked it and others hated it) I still see it as a game that is somewhat good but is somehow a step down from Super Mario 64(In Sunshine, you have to beat every level in order, and in 64, you could do it in any order).
I can't choose between Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Galaxy 2, or the two latest Mario & Luigi games. Every game is amazing by their own, mostly gameplay wise. Plus they have some of the most memorable Mario music. (With SMG2 being the exception, of course. )
Some memorable mentions are SM64, MKW and 7, and SPM.

Mario Kart 8 but actual probably is Mario Kart 7 because my longest gameplay of all Mario games.
I love to racing and challenge peoples that make me excited to winner and find epic and fun more experience of this game than other mario games.

My favourite game of all time is Super Mario Galaxy. It has the most beautiful graphics from all Wii games.
It has very beautiful music (my favourite is comet observatory music - all three) and great designed levels.
I got 120 stars as Mario and I'm trying now to get 120 stars as Luigi and get access to Grand Finale Galaxy.

Bowser's Inside Story!!! The most wonderful mario game in terms of Soundtrack (Wait that's mario galaxy ), Story and Bosses

Favorite...has to be Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. If you haven't play this, look it up. You won't be disappointed.
For an official Ninty game, I'd have to say Paper Mario: TTYD. I'm surprised no one's said it yet.
