Manual... the drifting is so much better, and I'm used to it.
I use Automatic. I'm just used to it more.
Automatic. Just because of the Power Slides.
Manual's the way to go. It even gives you a boost! I think the manual drifting is a cinch, there's nothing to it!

Manual doesn't give you a Power Slide. Only Automatic.

Manual of course. It's used in Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS.

I use manual because the turbo-boosts help me in races.
I'm used to manual, and besides, what's the point of the mini-turbo stat on vehicles then? Also, some characters (like Dry Bowser) get mini-turbo point bonuses...what's the point if you don't have a mini-turbo? Also, because I'm used to Mario Kart with mini-turbos.
Manual, because of powerslide ability. I can't win 150cc and Mirror without power slides.

I use manual because you can go faster. Unless I'm using the wheel then I use automatic cause I can barely use it normally without having to drift..
Pick "Automatic" and you cannot even JUMP.
Manual when playing seriously. I sometimes use Automatic when I'm playing against a family member that isn't really good. But sometimes I use manual and leave my challenger in the dust.
Manual all the way! I could care less if the person I'm facing against sucks or not.
