T1's Mario Party Duel --- Coco Bandicoot vs Slacker GAME OVER

My third and final duel I will be doing until a current duel finishes.

I present Mario party Duel boards on the forum. Using the gameplay from Mario Party 3's duel mode, two players will travel around a game board collecting partners to battle each other, until one player loses all of his/her lives.

Here are the partners used in this game. Some you may recognise, some are new.

Each partner will stand in front or behind you. Front characters are usually for attacking, Back characters are for defending. However, if you move in the reverse direction (from reverse space) the roles will be reversed.

Spaces:
Grey Space = Basic space = Land on this to turn it into your character space
Friendly character space = Gain coins depending on turn number
Enemy character space = Give coins depending on turn number
    Turns 1 - 5 = 3 coins
    Turns 6 - 10 = 5 coins
    Turns 11 - 15 = 8 coins
    Turns 16 onwards = 10 coins
Green ? Space = Random event will trigger
1-Player space = A one player minigame will begin. Gamble all coins and pick your odds. The higher the odds, the less chance of winning
    Odds available, x2 (50%), x3 (25%), x5 (15%), x10 (7.5%), x20 (2.5%)
Duel Space = Duel in a minigame. Winner will receive 10 coins
Reverse Space (Blue Arrow Space) = Roll again and move in reverse direction (will not stop at start area)
Power Up Space (Orange Arrow Space) = Partners stats will double, including cost

The area with the number 5: Everytime a player passes this area, the number will count down by 1. When it reaches 0, the other player is bought to this area and a duel minigame will begin, worth 20, 30 or 40 coins.

Two way path = The path in the middle is two way. However, whichever way you enter, you will continue going in that direction.
Road Blockers = The two brown blocks are path blockers. The unblocked direction is free, the blocked direction costs 5 coins to pass. The blocker alternates which path its blocking whenever a player passes it.
Shortcuts= The two faded arrows allow a shortcut across the board, however, only the red player is allowed to use the red shortcut, and the same for the blue player. Use these to catch up with your foes.

If you return to your start space, you will receive 10 coins and a new partner. The partner given is random. Every third time you arrive, you can pick your partner. Before the partner is picked, choose whether to put the partner in front or behind you.

Rules:
1) You must be ACTIVE. Don't enter if you think you won't play and finish the game.
2) The match ends when a player loses all 5 lives and therefore is the loser OR when 20 turns have passed, in which the winner is decided by number of lives left. If there is a tie, the number of coins decides the winner.
3) If you roll, and the move will involve NO decision making at all, I will make the move for you and move on, so to speed the game up.
4) You must not be taking part in a current duel.

Only 2 members can join this duel (hence its name).

So, who wants to join? Please state which character you want to play as (doesn't have to be a Mario character), but please don't choose a character who is used as a partner).
Also choose a partner to start with out of this list and whether to have it at the front or the back:
Bob-Omb - Attacks player directly, but is then destroyed
Boo - Attacks back when KO'd
Goomba - No special attack, but cheap
Koopa Troopa - No special attack, but cheap
Birdo - May give 0, 2, 3, or 4 coins at start of turn.
Shy Guy - May add 2, 3, or 4 to dice roll
Toad - Stops you losing coins from enemy character spaces
Whomp - Can't attack, but has high defence

This will be first come, first served.

Yep, too late sorry. I may do some more, but not til all 3 current duels are finished.

RIGHT, lets begin. Remember, if your turn does not involve any decision making, I will move you myself to save time. And remember that the two shortcuts can only be used if its your colour. Coco is red and will be going first. Slacker is blue and will be second. Good luck to all

Remember, wooden barrier cost 5 coins to pass. If your going down the path in the middle and you cannot afford to pass a block, you will move in reverse direction, meaning partners will be swapped around!!!

NOTE: I've noticed a slight flaw in the design of the board. To get out of the two-way path, you have to pay 5 coins to pass the blocker. There's no other way!  :-[ Therefore a slight change has been made.

If the blocker is here and you're coming down the two-way-path, you will go past the blocker at no cost and the blocker will not move to block the other path. Be aware, this is a forced move, you can't turn back. If the blocker is is blocking the two-way-path, you have to pay to get past. If both blockers block the two-way-path and a player is in there, both blockers will move to block the other path.

I hope you understood that! Cause I didn't.

S***. I've just noticed a mistake in the past 3 images. I put Koopa on the wrong side of Coco on the board. He is at the back, as the player panels say. Sorry if that confused anyone  :-[

Meets Coco.
BATTLE
Goomba walks up to Coco, spins on the spot so fast and whacks Koopa. Koopa loses 2 lives and is KO'd. The kick ricochet onto Coco. Coco loses 2 lives.

Slacker, you mis-counted. The one-player space is 9 spaces away. The Bonus counter (sun thingy in middle) is not a space so doesn't count as a dice move. Its either basic space or 5 coins then Power-up space (this won't do anything as you are already powered up.
