O0 highly unlikely but I thought of a game called Super Mario Sunshine 2: Moonshade for the Wii U!
Updated Story: One peaceful day at Mario's House Mario & Luigi walked all around Toad Town in the Mushroom Kingdom, and did stuff! Then they headed to Peach's Castle, Toadbert immediately ran into Peach's Castle and told everone, that they recieved an invitation to Isle Delfino, to celebrate over a decade of Mario saving Isle Delfino! So Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Toadbert, Toadette, Toadsworth, & the Toads took flight in the Mario Car (Upgraded Mario Clown Car, more roomy and has a cannon and dome over it), but they suddenly bump into enemies on the way. After they defeat them, they land on Isle Delfino, on Mario Island, where the party begins. But the party was crashed by a storm cloud coming in. But they realized it was no stormcloud, it was Bowser's Doomship attacking! Then enemies came down from it , along with Koopa Kids (Mario Party), also the Koopalings! So after Mario defeated the Koopalings he bumped into Metal Mario, then MM said he's one of Bowser's Minions now! Then he took F.L.U.D.D! And Mario chased after him and Shadow Mario stopped him, Peach then said if Shadow Mario is here then that means he is.....then Bowser Jr. revealed himself & said his dad is still recovering from the last time Mario defeated him. And Jr. said "It's been over a decade, when my first triumph over you, it's been a real long time after all these games. But why make a sequel now!" Then Bowser Jr. stated he'll defeat Mario this time. So Bowser Jr. sent Kamek to fight Mario, then Mario defeated Kamek, and fought Bowser Jr. But their fighting was interrupted by Metal Mario defeating Mario. Then Bowser Jr. stated, "See this paintbrush, yep it's the one I attempted to beat you with a while back, it's upgraded by Kamek, so now I'm gonna use my magic!" Then he made it Nightime. He then stated, "See I used my upgraded brush to make it dark in Island Delfino for the rest of it's days! Then they fleed, everyone panicked, because Boos & ghosts started appearing, and E. Gadd made a speech saying that he could tell there were 4 heroes to do this quest and they were Mario, Luigi, Daisy, & Toadbert! So E. Gadd gave Luigi his Poltergust 5000. And gave Mario his new creation called M.U.D.D, he called it F.L.U.D.D's cousin! Mudd could be used to get enemies stuck, and mark over electric and poison water & lava! He said he could use it to help save Isle Delfino & rescue Fludd. So Mario realized needed the Paint Brush, and All the Star Bits to make it shine again! So then they took off on their journey!!
