Based on the previews, it wasn't entirely clear. Will this be released for regular Wii or WiiU?

Based on the trailer, for the Wii. We don't know if it will be for Wii U.
The end of the trailer shows the Wii logo. Doesn't look too shabby.
It's a plus plus either way, a WiiU version would mean new and sleek technology and ideas meanwhile a Wii version means an earlier release.
It's for wii probably.
I don't really care either way, but it would be cool for it to be for the WiiU.
Wii so I won't have to buy another gaming system LOL
What exactly is the WiiU is it a controller or another console?
It's another console.chaosshadow123 said:
Ugh crap I just bought the 3DS in... whenever it came outcookieboy17 said:
Well the WiiU is a home console and the 3DS is a portable console so it doesn't hurt to own both. Besides, this WiiU isn't projected to come out until next year so you'll have some time with the 3DS.chaosshadow123 said:
It's on the Wii. Come on just look at the graphics and you can tell it's a cartoony Wii game.
So, if it's for the Wii, it'll be easier to play since I won't get a WiiU on the next years.
Probably for Wii since theres pretty much not many games coming out for it, and it could be one of the last games before the Wii like disapears lol
Kinda of glad its for Wii though, since Wii should have a "proper" verison of MP. Plus Nintendo is saving the Mario Party to end them all, Mario Party 1080P ! Get it? (ok lame joke...)
Updated the title so no one gets confused about possible speculation. It's for the Wii.
I think this is gonna be the last major Wii game before Wii U comes out. I'm betting on a release in early 2012 for Mario Party 9, and I'm actually okay with that. Gives them more time to work on it.
I wouldn't say the last major title cause there's still other titles like Kirby Wii and Skyword Sword that are gonna come out soon but yeah this'll probably be one of the last ones.tiptupjr94 said:
Well, those are both being released in late 2011. I was thinking Mario Party 9 might be released in early 2012 just to give the Wii one last push, but I dunno. At least we'll still be able to play all these on Wii U anyway.
